I have a new song up :-)
Hey everybody,
I put a new song up called Friend of Mine.
It isn't really done. This was a reference mix after a tracking session. It is close. I might need to add one or two things and really get into the mix. But until I get protools set up here this song is dead in the water. Anyhow, it sounds pretty good now so I thought I'd share.
Let me know what you all think please :-)

Yeah, I would love to play around with your F.U.C.K. vocal but I just don't have crap to work with right now. I am hoping by the summer I'll have my own "home studio" up to speed. Basically a Mac, a microphone and protools. For tracking drums I have friends with serious studios where I can track and bring it home to lay shit over it then. But, right now, I got nada.
The fun news is that I am heading out to California on Wednesday. I'll be staying with a couple of my best friends and we plan oin making as much music as we can in 5 days. So there will be some new V Frequency, Jason Carro, and Quiet Time songs up here on IAC soon!
And Laree, thanks again for the multiple station adds. You rock!

Maybe they will. I'll show em and see what they think!
I'll be in Los Angeles. It'll be a nice break from the crappy cold weather here in NJ for sure. I heard it was HOT yesterday out there. I just wanna feel some warmth and look at a palm tree or two.

Characteristically excellent work, here, V-Dood! Of course Hugo craves soaring Allman Bros./Claptonesque/Harrisonesque slide guitar over that mammoth intro (30 secs, dude, challenges my patience without something to grab onto, but that's just me - LOL!)
You're a friggin' star.

P.S. - would've had a listen yesterday but was wrapped up in some behind-the-scenes file transfer housekeeping crapola, if ya know what I mean...couldn't get my weenie laptop to double-task...

Hey Hugh,
It's funny, I was just thinking it needed some lead guitar over that intro. I was thinking a little more like Velvet Underground "Pale Blue Eyes" kinda sound. Whaddaya think?
Laree, you're gonna be there too? What are ya doing out there?
Any other IACers gonna be there?

V-Man, my knowledge is soooooo narrow - I have no idea about that Velvet Underground song - but some groovy lead is the answer (imho) and I know you've got it covered, AxeMan...

Andy, luckily for me it was only an x-girlfriend that inspired that tune. Less paperwork, aye? :-)
