How 'bout stage name Vartan, and keep V Frequency.
I'm with Silverwood -- I was in a NUMBER of bands, before starting Conversation Suicide over 6 years ago -- I think, even though the name can get tiresome, it's BEST to keep the history of promos & music distribution, etc., under ONE name...
I tried the changing band names every few months when new projects are started, and it's like starting from scratch every time. I think it REALLY helps to get your music out there, if you're branded with one name. Of course, I've had the name pHLeGm for my entire music career so that helped a little, but think about all those hits on IAC, Myspace & wherever else you distribute your music. Urrrr... they'd be LOST and any fans you did gain might become confused.
- again, just an opinion. But many have said, for the business side of music, product branding is important...
EITHER WAY --- your music rules --- so do what seems right for YOU, my good man!
