Pack of crazy fools
Listening to the young folks, nothing’s good enough for them. Next thing you know, they’ll be wanting to go back to living in caves, nobody works any more, live that way for a while.
Used to be a saying about Lottery in June, corn be heavy soon. First thing you know, we’d all be eating stewed chickweed and acorns.

Old man warner-you're very wise..
I'm a comparative young'un myself at 60-but reckon the army, compulsary church and hanging would sort 'em out and give em back the discipline and moral fibre they lack..

This is true, they seem to be so worldly and focus on material things, they never had a hungry feeling in their belly or felt cold and uncomfortable. It's a generalisation but I think they get things too easy. Used to be you'd wait and save up for stuff now they just get it as soon as think about it. They are building up problems for the future I think, but then I am almost as old as Steve too. Things ain't what they used to be for sure - Mildred

Well, I can understand the "wanting everything right now" phenomena for the young folks of today with all the constant bombardment of doomsday and the apocalypse and the fact that most young kids today are inheriting an awful lot of debt with an overall apathy towards being able to buy their own house one day. Simply put, they don't buy into the virtue anymore... at least not was toted by the last few generations.
Young folks today will find their way, it just won't be the way the older folks did because they are in their own time and are dealing with a whole new bag o' rocks. Like mass delusions for instance, and the deconstruction therein, apathy is just a step along the way. They have inherited hope in the form of a dollar bill and an overall sense of self importance by way celebrity status, can you blame them ?

aptly put, as always. It's a Scary time out there, near depression-era financially & shit..., but I agree they'll find their own way...

What,s getting to me is governments bailing out private banks and insurers with tax payers money WHY should we rescue them. This is exactly what we need to be getting rid of not bailing them out. It,s like having a bar or restaurant and having customers who comes in drinks and eats and never pays. Are you going to miss them no.
