Winners! "I've Had Enough" & "Say You Love Me Now"
It is such a joy when something good happens with my music. Last week I was informed that my song "I've Had Enough" (Hip-Hop) has won a "Finalist" award in the Song Of The Year Songwriting Contest. It was deemed top 5 out of entries from all over the world. This song was #1 on the IAC Hip-Hop charts for about 3 weeks. I am so blessed to have this song recognized because of its anti-gang message. I hope this message spreads like wild fire and effects a change on the streets of California. Recently a one year old child was gunned down and killed in the cross fire from a gang shoot out. So sad......
In addition to this news, I was just informed that my song "Say You Love Me Now" has been awarded "Finalist" in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest. It is currently #1 in the IAC R&B/Soul charts.
What a nice way to close out the year. I am so humbled and blessed to know that the old guy is still writing music that is relevant and noteworthy. At least the contest judges think so. Go figure. Now all I need is for Santa Claus to bring me a new set of studio headphones........(wink)
Much Respect and Happy Holidays Everyone!

Congrats times a million on both tunes, Stoneman. It's so great that "I've Had Enough" is being awarded especially when you feel so strongly about the meaning of the song - very satisfying.
With all you've experienced and with all your talent, you'll never run out of great songs that people want to hear. You're an amazing person and musician.
I'm so happy for you!

Congratulations and jubilations for your songs--they speak volumes
I can't imagine our stations without a Stoneman number near the top
so I am hoping you will reconsider how you deal with the recent problem .
I have wanted to spit this site from my mind a few times in the past but something keeps pulling me back----yes it is the cameraderie of fellow artists some of whom I have been lucky enough to meet in person
I have no idea of the facts so I can only say please leave your final descision well into 2012---and if you go email me at silverwoodstudio@gmail.com re a future site, where many IACers already reside

Thanks Richard, Rob, Neil and Chandra!
Chandra,
I am not the kind of person that would be vindictive and mean. Whatever songs of mine that are on your stations will remain up. Thank you so much for being so kind and thoughtful towards me. I am sure I will have my moments when I will have to drop by and have a listen to your work as well as my other friends.
Much Respect!

I wish I could say I was angry at IAC but I am not. I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to be here. Maybe some day they will answer one of my emails and try to resolve the issues. Maybe not. Life is too short to wait for something that may never happen. So I move on with living. Peace!
