I love indie music.
It's like a volcano, there is this great, long rumble and you just know that anytime now, the whole thing is going to explode.

It has too FT. As people continue to think more independently for themselves, it will transcend to their choices in music and expression. I too truly believe this.

For the New Year I decided to make a station of my very favorite indie songs of all time. You folks have no idea how many songs I've listened to over the years. Some of them stay with you, I got great pleasure from them then and get great pleasure from them now.
Please don't feel you've been slighted if you're not included, I make no apologies for my tastes.
I love these songs til the end of time

I love listening to your music on IMP! Let's me know how far I have come and how far I still have to go. Benchmarks are snow poles. 2019 - I'll play it by ear, . . .still have so much re-work to do lyric and vocal-wise on many of the 42 songs I made in 2018 to really concentrate on anything new. Still, 4640 keeps whispering to create it. I realize I am limited on what I am able to do, so I should be more focused on clarity, headphones, and cliche creation, rather than this turn the faucet on and see what happens approach I have allowed to escape in this new song Cost of It All. Flangers will not do. . . though it does make it sound like a dreamscape or I am underwater. Maybe I should pull out the fan again and sing it like I did Road Dust. Nah, one fan song is enough I think..I say thank you to all the great musicians who have posted tracks here in IMP. I find a station and just press play all. Sort of like reaching into the candy jar, you never know what you're going to get, but it will ALL be good!

If I could just get my scatter brained head out of my ass I could get this ball rolling. i have multiple songs just idling right now until I remember how to do one process. Its a labor of love for sure. But the old brain keeps surprising me with unexpected revelations. Aye, me college days do muddle around in me brain. Somewhere in there, there is information waiting to be extracted. It's a damn shame that I cant just bring it up like magic the way I use to. No, I spend many days just trudging through my college notes looking for answers. For every problem there is an answer. I am bound and determined to find my answers. It could be my advanced age or it could be the brain surgery I had a few years back. I don't know. And, that is the problem. There is so much that I don't know anymore. Trying to re-teach myself has been a chore. But in 2019, I am going to crack this egg and get it fried. This is the year. mark my word. I am predicting magic. Let it be.

I love Indie Music too and I like the fact that it's associated with the term streaming. I think it's a good analogy. All the music that begins locally and streams out eventually hits the big river and then it exists in the main stream all from it's own power. And that power derives from the simple fact that people either liked your music and clicked on it or not - no bullshit involved.

Stoneman - the magic finds you - that's been the history of your life as I understand it through your own writing. Just vape and relax and don't worry.

Cool Idea FT.
How far back can you go? A lot of the GREATS aren't here anymore and a lot of them have re-adjusted their pages for newer material. Do you have a special archive for the earlier golden years at IAC?
We should have something like Spotify or Pandora for IMP to bring back the gold!

I have a lot of my favorites on stations but I also remember them in my head. I don't know how somebody would go about doing that on spotify but if you do, write me.
