Well. I lost at the 2023 IAIA Golden Kayak Awards. I should known by now, I feel like I'm hitting rock bottom. But I DO learn that nomination is just a win. But my fans still riding with me. You know it's all good. I tried harder and harder each day. But now, I still got a lot to learn from my mistakes. Why? Because it's the state of my music, my musical journey and my continuing success. I appreciate every one of you. Thank you.

Congrats to all the nominees and winners! Some surprises for sure. Great show, Scott. I listened to it on YouTube through my tv/Roku set up and the sound quality was amazing. Next year I’m coming in a tuxedo:-)

Great show, listened a couple times so much fine listening and such stellar performances and songs were fantastic, and as always,Father Timeis such a excellent presenter and great host and makes the awards show roll so fluidly, especially liked those music jokes, had me laughing.
Congrats to all the nominees and Golden Kayak winners and as well a big shout out to Gina French and her amazing songs and 4 golden kayaks!! awesome and well deserved for sure.
Thanks ! to all who nominated me and voted me in on those 3 Golden Kayaks, especially thrilled with the male artist of the year, thank you so much.
cheers and continued music making to all of my peers and fellow indiemusicpeople friends. Onward IMPNATION. Let's keep it moving forward with station building and listening to our fellow musicians vibe and adding to your stations, would like to see the review part of peoples music expanded upon.
New station managers needed and we welcome the new listeners as well, as per suggestion by Father Time for us all to reaching out to former members to swing by and invite your music friends who would like to participate here.
I feel the place is ready to take off and become even more powerful and expand its reach even further. Lets make it happen.

IMP is a special place. Thanks to all of the artists that voted for me!
I want to thank Bryon Tosoff for the great piano work on my song. I have never had to ask him for a retake. I send Bryon a track and just cut him loose, and he delivers. Also, a special thanks to Paul Wainwright on sax. Paul can tell a story with each riff he plays, and his technical abilities are second to none. These guys made Tropical Rain happen. Teamwork and the love of music. This why I love collaborations.

Thank you to all who made my song: Son Of A Gun a winner in Classic Rock. It was a difficult song to pull off virtually and a lot of work went into it. I had to replace a vocal and it was a painful birthing experience but I now I feel like it was all worth it! As long as I live I will fight to continue the tradition of 60’s and 70’s music.

Thanks to all for all the fun, and 2 new Golden Kayaks! Been a joy turn this stuff out and actually have people listen. Enjoying a bunch of new toys so a further barrage of rather strange stuff is forth coming. Got a bunch done for the pure joy of it, without all the typical genre based cliche's. Dang, why not do what you actually feel like doing rather than trying to please a hypothetical audience? Go for it! This place is perfect for that. Thanks again!

I am late to the party, and just had a full listen.
First off, I am truly stunned to have received more than one Kayak. I honestly wasn't expecting anything and was just honored to be nominated!

This community is overflowing with so much talent, and I feel so lucky to be a part of it!
I really enjoyed the show, Scott. Loved hearing the overview of what certain artists were wearing, the music jokes, and song at the end - Indie music.com. Guessing that was Neg/Tendencies? It was fantastic! :)
