Updates to Daily Plays and Charts
The daily plays haven't been updated since the end of December, and the charts seem to be updated rather randomly. What's up?

Actually the Jan 2007 updates are right there, you just need to go to the bottom to January. We're going to remove all of 2006 from that soon but for now we kept it there.
The charts have been updating so I'm not sure what you're talking about there.
By the way, the best place to get answers to these kind of questions is to write the IAC Support Hotline, link on your administration page or iacsupporthotline@gmail.com

Thanks very much for asking here. I was wondering too.
The programming team would be well advised to implement a simple change that would prevent users from being confused by such a reporting anomaly: sort by Year-Month-Day and the list will always feature the latest reporting period on top.
This kind of thing may seem minor or obvious to you, Scott - but it is the kind of thing that makes my blood boil.

well the thing is set up by the year. We could've removed 2006 right away but we thought it would be nice to leave it up for awhile so if some people hadn't checked it would still be there for them. And our programmers are constantly working on projects, like our new Station Charts. What I mean is it may sound simple, the concept of making every yearly transition look like it's seamless, but programming things like that is pretty complex, if it comes down to a choice of how we spend our resources, we give adding great new features a somewhat higher priority.
Anyway Hugh, you should never let stuff like that make your blood boil. Just write us at the support hotline and drink some green tea. :D

Right, Scott - I'll make it Iced Tea. Lots of ice...I've learned one way to stay cool around here is to stay far away from the forums...

well the forums can be fun, it's a good way to network and get to know people. but yeah it's a greater level of intimacy so if you get in the fray you usually need a pretty thick skin at one time or another heh.
