Singing lessons
Why am i so shite at singing. I try my best it always sounds terrible to me. I read a theory lately about how you perceive your own voice. That you don't hear what your voice sounds like to other people and it may sound radically different to what you hear. Because a number of factors hearing, perception and what your soul and your head thinks about it my theory but similar. The microphone is the most complex of all the instruments in many ways. A guitar is a guitar a synth is a synth. The microphone is a bit chameleon like. Anything can be controlled by a mic if you know your Daw and midi cc,s but it will never sound as rigid as the guitar or the synth. All you are doing is moving air

I know what you are saying Paul. I feel the same most days. My martin always sings. Me I have good days and well.... yeah. Those days.
It's like dogs.. do they see what we do? Color? They hear way better. Maybe that's why my retiver howls when I play? She's hearing

Got cut off with my fat fingers.
The dog hears every mistake.
Anyhow. Be you. Embrace your voice and all its beautiful imperfections. I have mine. When I got less serious about it. It got better.
Be one with the air.
Best , Bruce

My friend Craig makes me look like a numpty. But that is not original music. To write original music.

I finally learned to love my voice when I went on a cover song binge. That got me in tune with strong melodic concepts. And now, some 700 songs later, I am more than happy to open my mouth and sing anytime! I love to listen to myself, lol. (Perhaps that came out wrong! lolol)

My singing basically SUCKS. I sang a small backup on one song with my Buddy Skeeter on the song below, but that's about it. I just let the Axe do the talking. Good thing, too...everbody would leave otherwise!!!
