Made a video for one of my songs

ok, this probably isn't good enough for VH1 or MTV, but it was done using a video cam and some cool editing software called Ulead Video Studio 11. The song is called "I Never Wanted To Say Goodbye", it's the one I co-wrote with You Tuber Aleisha R.

Forgive the sloppy video editing here and there, hope you like this song enough to add to your stations.

Thanks for watching.

Gotta hand it to you Gary, that's a lovely song, very well done, and I enjoyed the video a lot...I've been wanting to make a "one man band" video showing the actual tracking - it looks like that's what you did, rather than "miming" - is that so? Either way it was a lot of fun for me to watch...rock on...

Thanks guys. This was a little challenging in terms of synching up the backing track. Essentially there are two full takes of me playing/singing to the song live as the music plays from my computer. The sound track on these two tracks helped me visually lineup the start of the song (displaying the WAV file). It was then a matter of cutting between the two takes, and a couple of other angles with harp, tamborine, piano. Once the scenes were all lined up, went in the deleted the audio from those so the clean backing track came through. There has got to be an easier way to do it. It took about 2 hours of editing things. Yep, the tamborine sound on this one is superb, and right here on this community I found the help I needed to get the right sound when recording the tune. Thank you for checking this one out.
