*** I have so much to learn ***
My life path right now is one of learning to sacrifice ego and self-ishness but I didn't set a very good example with my previous blog topic (which I have removed out of respect).
I had noble intentions but somewhere that all went astray! I deeply and sincerely apologise to anyone I inadvertently offended.
This is certainly NOT an easy path but I am a determined pussycat and will let this only strengthen my faith and my resolve to overcome all these tests.
I LOVE you all here and have a geniune desire to learn how to TRULY put everyone else before myself.
Peace and purrs to all my friends here and I hope there's no hard feelings. :-)

Awesome! Cool stuff Red. I really love your flute playing and am still fully intending on writing a completely new piece to go with the 'Goblins Theme' solo.
As you know, I was planning on writing this with a couple of friends but that isn't really working out so I think I'll just get on with it and make it a collab between you and I :-)

I feel like I have come back home again from a weird road trip!!!
Apparently I am at the start of my mid-life crisis!!! I prefer to call it a mid-life awakening. I'm still a toddler in these waters and am bound to make a few mistakes. Hopefully my last one was the most significant!

We all have so much to learn Titania. Recognizing this is the first step on our learning path of this thing called life. The Second step and important lesson is that we never stop learning. The minute we think we have no more to learn, we might as well be dead.
At my tender age, I still have a lot of learning to do and from where I stand I think you are doing great!!
Remember my song 'So Much To Learn'?

Bruce,
I just got an email which may be yours. It started with ELSOL102.
Phlegm,
Thanks buddy. Lesson learned. You're a gem my friend :)
Vincenzo,
I do indeed remember your song 'So Much To Learn', quite clearly actually. I should go and have another listen to it once I finish typing this reply.
I have no plans to ever stop learning. :)
Chris,
More creative persuits indeed! I have added your guitar part to 'Remember' and it sounds AWESOME. Once Dick gets a chance to add his sax part, I'll comp it all together with Hugo's fine slide playin' and get it uploaded. :)
Purrs to everyone.

Hi Superpuss,
We've all got things to learn, the world is so big and varied. It almost feels that any comment about this would be trite and superficial. On the prctical side of resaerching the net, just make sure you never rely on only one source, and treat all sources with mild scepticism!.
From your net presence you don't strike me as an overly egotistic person I must say.

Awe... sweet kitty cat... I read through everything on the other thread... and simply put, it's SUPER scary stuff. And even scarier still, is that it runs even deeper than what you've presented. But presenting these extremely heavy ideas in a public context completely opens you a whole other aspect of dialogue. And one without human eye contact, voice, pause, tears, touch, etc...
I personally think that evolution is inevitable. It is a natural state of ebb and flow and energetic universal forces. There is danger everywhere in everything... but there is also love. The mind can travel down a dark dark path... where if we step back further and further and peel back the onion to its sheerest fiber, there's some pretty serious shit possibilities out there. And yes, wickedness DOES exist. And I, for one, am still seriously baffled that with all of the mind-blowing advances in our world, that humans still struggle to make peace with one another. That children are still taught prejudice and hate. That anyone is considered 2nd class to anyone else, or that anyone considers themselves superior for that matter... I just DON'T get it... its not part of my soul fiber.
The US just sat through 21+ months of an outrageous campaign process... almost two years sifting through LIES instead of DEMANDING TRUTH. Which, I'm convinced would've been a MUCH shorter run, had we demanded truth and FACTS during debates and speeches... instead of spinning lies, smut and rhetoric over and over and over again.
BUT the thing that really got to me more than anything else, was the Al Smith memorial dinner that everyone who was anyone in politics attended... all in one room together, just one big happy family... eating, drinking and making fun of each other... my immediate thought watching McCain and Obama "make fun with each other" WASN'T "oh, how nice to see them all get along"... NO... my first reaction was, "eek...scary stuff... what fools we are taking sides"... it's an agenda much bigger than any of us can imagine. (maybe check out Kevin's South Park thread for a lighter view, ha ha)... "divide and conquer"???
Ultimately, I think the internet is a grand shape-shifting tool... NEUTRAL.... 50% good, 50% evil. Good or bad, the damage and misunderstanding, or the truth and possibilities... whatever it is, even with the best of intentions, doesn't always serve the greater good... and not everyone is "safe" in every dialogue... in fact... I learned this myself just a few years back when I joined the Steel Guitar Forum.
At the time, the SGF was a much more open forum and allowed for conversation to be stretched, topics explored (not so anymore, they are solely steel guitar focused now!) But a few years back, a topic was posted imploring everyone to immediately get their FLU shot. Another steel player, Winnie Winston of NZ (an amazing man, player and homeopathic expert) got on and offered his alternative viewpoint. I, too, having been on a natural path for over 26 years, offered my perspective. I never said that the thread starter was wrong in his view, I only suggested the importance of preventative care, thorough research and caution before choosing to get the shot.... MY MISTAKE??? Well, I also explained that I was a mother who had had all my children by way of home birth without a doctor or midwife, and that I chose to NOT vaccinate my children and how incredibly healthy they remain. Not only did the thread poster ATTACK me directly for being an "irresponsible parent", BUT HE ALSO took it upon himself to call my home state officials in attempt to REPORT me!!!!! (Obviously, not realizing that my CHOICE was LEGAL)... Talk about seriously OUTRAGEOUS.
So, yeah... I love some of the dialogue here, but it is all public, and ultimately we have no idea who sits on the other side of the computer screen. I for one, think it is absolutely imperative that we seek truth, wisdom, understanding, and free thinking... and do our best to never settle for illusion and convenience. But one must take great care on this information highway.
All Love,
Auset

Auset - In reading most of your posts on IAC, I find you a compassionate and open-minded human-being. The flip side to the internet forum coin which loses from not having body language etc is that sometimes the written word can express something different and very heartfelt.
If we can't freely express our views and opinions, whatever they are, for fear of some 'evil' force lurking on the internet, then there's no point. I prefer to express myself and share with others regardless.
Afterall, the bottom line is that anybody's opinions are merely opinions and we need not fear.

Titania, don't stop posting controversial ideas that you're investigating. That would just be wrong. They may be right, they may be wrong ideas, but discussion is how you sort it out.

Muriel,
I haven't received your email yet. Did you send it to the address on my website (don't post the address here!!!) or through IAC artist mail? The IAC mail is not working for me and hasn't for a while.
Red,
I completely agree with you about not fearing the expressing of opinions. However, as I have found out, sometimes things get totally misinterpreted and emotions soar out of control. I always do my best to remain peaceful and understanding under such circumstances, even if it is something I am passionate about.
Auset,
That is a wonderfully written response and I find myself agreeing with you on all points. As you are no doubt aware, my inspiration for sharing information that some simply cannot fathom is not to provoke a fear response but to show that, no matter how dire a situation appears, there IS a solution. It is my desire to inspire people to do their own research so that they may awaken and realise that they CAN overcome the oppression on this planet.
To coin a popular term from a well known movie, "I can only show (them) the door, (they're) the one(s) that ha(ve) to walk through it."

Titania, this is a great Topic, warm and considered and brave.
A friend of mine once said "Realty is just a temporary truce between rival gangs of media programmers"
which is nonsense of course, it's far more complicated than that but still I like that line!
I think that in uncertain times we're likely to grab onto any life raft that comes floating by, and I think that a lot of Deacons, Pundits, Charlatans and Pastors are keenly aware of this.
Really, there are a lot of people out there fighting for our attention.
be selective in who you give it to,,,Make sure they're deserving of your beautiful mind!
all good things to you and yours !

Titania
I followed your thread and admit I didn't completely understand it----we don't have much knowledge of Jewish language here and there was a word which i simply did not understand!
However free speech is what we have always believed the USA has stood for and I absolutely applaud Aussett for her well thought out response!!
There are plenty of self appointed "experts" here but i would rather "listen" to someone who speaks from the heart
love and peace

I hear you on the attention seekers and charlatans too. There's certainly no shortage of false prophets (profits?) around in this day and age.
Beth,
You are the second who has mentioned trying to send me an email. Was it via the IAC private messages or my personal email? Please don't type the actual email address here though. That just attracts spammers!
I replied to your post on Holo's thread with a bit of a light hearted joke about being on a watch list but I think I inadvertently offended Holo (oops) so I'll post your post with my reply here on my thread.....
Your post....
"Stuff I have read about the CIA and other stuff over the years...there is a lot of stuff that goes on behind the scenes...it's called CORRUPTION...and it is rampant all over the world in every country...our country is no exception...but I won't go in to details and probably should not have mentioned it...because I don't want to end up on any watch lists...and also...politics can become very divisive and I don't want to do that.....but sometimes it's hard not to say something."
and my reply
"No doubt I am already on a Pentagon Department of Defense watch list Beth. The Pentagon and British Intelligence IP addresses are regularly popping up on my IP logger, which makes me smile because it means I am researching the right things!!!
I wonder if they'll take notice of this list!!! :-D
