How the heck is the big 50 decided?

I asked the very same question in an email to admin@iacmusic.com... and I was told that it has nothing to do with the amount of times you've been played in the IACmusic.com site.... it is my understanding that an A&R type of panel or group behind the scenes decides...

I always assumed it was on the amount of plays, be interesting to find out the answer to this question.

Susie is right. The KIAC Big 50 is compiled by the programming dept. and has zero to do with number of plays.

Baby thinks its by genral page views and action, because heavy rotation always adding and subtracting songs is always up there. And hollywood ending has way cool graphics and gets viewed alot, Baby also noticed that when baby works on acoustic exotica, adding great artists and writing nice things it seems to go up a bit. General page views would have to be part of it, but baby has been wrong before. Gurgle. Try naming a station chronic indecision and change the artist every hour or so. ha ha, like I'm not here enough. gurgle
