Very Very Sad news
I really hate to tell our Great community this unbelievable and shocking news, but....
Dolores Paradise of Shoe City Sound has passed earlier this week.
She had a heart attack and passed in her sleep. I talked to Judy yesterday and sent my condolences and prayers.
Me and Bryon Tossof of whom we've done collabs with SCS are still in shock. Such a bubbly upbeat and happy person with loads of talent could suddenly be gone.
Oddly enough Dolores was practicing to lay down tracks on another new song together called "Last Train". I told Judy I will see it through and Dedicate that song to Dolores.
There may be a page for her coming soon.
I may wait until after the awards to talk about my memories and work together with Dolores. Right now I'm still trying to grasp our loss.

Dolores will be deeply missed indeed. Thank you Duane for posting this and thank you for phoning me yesterday and conveying the news of her passing.I am still in a state of shock and trying to wrap my head around this as well.
I was about to get in touch with Dolores in doing some special vocals on a song that Duane Paul and I are about to get underway on. Dolores possessed a wonderful quality in her online tone and her comments, they were always positive and uplifting, a joy to read here and on other social media. I appreciated her participation in a number of projects that Duane Dolores and I worked on. Such a special talent and lovely singer. May we think of her often.

omg that is so terrible. We all loved her here. I also now wish I had looked on the pipeline today cause I could've mentioned something on the Golden Kayak Show which I just finished recording.
I'm beside myself here, I just uploaded the show, I guess she would've wanted us to carry on?

All good Scott, Dolores would want the show to carry on, I am actually in tears right now thinking of her and her special wonderfulness and Dolores always helping me with my songs when I called upon her, always willing to pitch in. Mystical China was wonderful ,Dolores captured the elements I wanted perfectly and Duane doing some special awesomeness on Mandolin, Dolores and Duane always pitched in when I asked them to help out to make my songs better, one of my favs and mysterious qualities too, and her magic on doing a cover of my It's Time which Shoe City Sound won a Golden Kayak a few years back , and Dancing into the Moonlight with Dolores doing some cool vocal elements. A special person and wonderful creative human being, we will miss Dolores greatly. Thank you Dolores, we will think of you often and into eternity, may the angels be with you and care for you and you smile upon us ,here on this earth, keep us safe as you are.

So sorry to hear, Dolores with her wonderful musicality, added her work to numerous stations, recall she "loved" my Jon Benet song, very generous soul, and a unique sensibility...

That is devastating... A tremendous talent and presence here on IMP. At least there is some comfort in knowing she continued doing what she loved until her passing. My condolences to her friends and family.

We will all miss Delores. She was so supportive and positive like a ray of light in the darkness she was always there for us to brighten our days. I'm really in shock and find it hard to express how I feel. I hope to find the words and come back with a more definitive post as to how I feel. Rest in peace, Delores.

Dolores, was such an upbeat and positive presence here and in life. I can't really comprehend that she is gone. Fly away home Dolores may your songs play in heaven and your soul rest in peace.
We are better off for having known you. Thank you for being part of our lives and enriching the lives of all those who were lucky enough to have meet you.

Gone Away, a tribute to Dolores Paradise, this was her artist name (aka Carol Doherty) which I found out when we did a number of songs together so I credited Dolores accordingly with her given name, this was done for possible royalties from radio spins and other income from songs and registered at are respective P.R.O.s
Thanks in advance those who add to stations or listen, I will be redoing possibly sometime to make the vocals more pronounced and do an improved recording.

Oh I’m heartbroken to read this. She was so lovely and active here and I loved her music. She’s the only person to do a cover of one of my tracks (Easy) and was a delight to collaborate with. So so sorry.
