The Monkey On The Devil's Doom
I've just uploaded an old track but if you are tempted to have a listen beware..... Its 30mins long. If youve got the time to have a listen then I think it would be worth your while as it is something quite different. Its a narrated musical tale with 5 songs included. Its a few years old so the quality is a bit off but I am really pleased that I did it then as I dont think I would ever have the time or patience to do it now.

Epic! This is something completely else. Not many people have the attention span for something like this but it's just the kind of thing I'm always looking for. Haven't quite listened closely enough yet to get the whole story. Requires closer examination...

I finally took the time to listen to "Monkey on the Devil's Doom", and I'm glad I did. It's very entertaining, and the production is top-notch. It's a solid 'children's story' (I hope you don't mind the term) with some excellent music and songs. Maybe it's because Stegor posted earlier, but I think you should get an illustrator and make an audiobook out of it.

Ben, I agree with the above, quite an epic, I can imagine watching it as a stage production, great effort. I would love to achieve the quality of production you have attained here, I'll have to have a closer look at your catalogue if this is on the lower end of the scale

Thanks everyone. I think an audio book sounds like a great idea. Just need to find someone to do the illustrations. It was intended as a childrens story so Im not concerned about the terminology. Its something I did at university for my dissertation. Most people just recorded an EP, but it seemed like too much of a good opportunity to do something different.

I suppose it's finally time for LONG ATTENTION-SPAN RADIO around here...lol...I'll have a listen, Ben - will pop it on the iPod and see if it gives me crazy dreams tonight...
Just had a chance to check out your video - I'm jealous, I can barely manage to do anything other than cruise online these days and I'd really enjoy getting a lo-fi homemade vid going...glad to see you're hosting it at indiemusicclips.com . . .
