How dare they ask me for money for my songs!
I got a phone call yesterday from some bloke at some 'record company' (Hmmmm) This was on my private mobile number. He said he got it from a website. What?!! He said also, that he wanted to add one of my songs to an album, and it was only going to cost me £500. Oh do shut up!! Please please STOP insulting our music (and our intelligence) you people. Don't phone us, don't email us, just leave us ALONE. They're called 'the white' by the way, so if anyone announces they're from that company, you know what to do..... Cathy x

Thanks for the heads up Cat! They seem to run in packs and in cycles, so don't be surprised if you hear from a few more in the not to distant future. The good news is that because of places like IAC, these paracites are becoming fewer by the day.
Best,
Vic

I think that phone call you got was disgraceful.
I would only have charged you £400 to put your track on my DMD.

G'morning Lane, I've been hearing about this more and more lately. Unfortunately, many artists will be tricked into thinking that someone is genuinely interested in their music.
