Quote me on that
Hi there y'all, for all you fans of wise words (and even those not so wise) my new Rock Quote of the Day station is now up. Seven songs daily that relate to the QOTD! It's called "Smile, You're On QOTD Radio"

Carl,
SUCH a great idea for a station!!! A lot of work each day, but I think your station will become one of the more popular ones because I know I read the quotes each day and it will be fun to see what you come up with as far as IAC artists songs...

Actually, Just curious -- Are you gonna use actual artist quotes from Blogs & comments on other artist's pages? That would be awesome! I Bet there's some pretty interesting ones out there! -phlegm

I'm overwhelmed by the great response to this...thanks so much for the support. Re: the question of quotes, I think I'll start with the ones on the main page (everyone sees those) but I've thought about branching off eventually towards things people say here. Great one from Larree yesterday: "I've planted a tree so I'll have a shady future," Brilliant. Who knows who the QOTD artist will be! Thanks again.

I am smiling too Carl !!!
Thanks for your support....All I can say, is that you have a lot more energy than I have got....
I wish I had a Rock quote, but I can't think of one, despite my age. I can only think of one of my first important gigs and I had a brand new Bontempi keyboard. They were an excellent accordion manufacturer, so as time changed they ventured into keyboards and they were cheaper than a Farfisa....Trouble was, as evening approached and the humidity increased....(this was an outdoor venue)...C became G, D became A, F who knows...on top of that all different octaves.....That was the worst night of my musical life.....

Ha ha ha! My specialty was grabbing the wrong guitar when I used open tunings on stage and chiming in with a Q minor while the rest of the band was playing in E!
