Heartfelt song created as part of a forthcoming EP to contribute funds to Animals Asia and their rescue and care of Moon Bears horrifically imprisoned for bile extraction.

I would be very grateful to hear which genre I should put this song in please.

Hi Red
I'm hopeless at this genres thing so I won't tell you to put it under Indusrial punk cause I'd probably be on the wrong track.
I will however congratulate you on a superbly mixed track.
Cheers Mark

Thanks Mark.
Steve Jones should take the credit for most of the mixing, though I did contribute quite a lot. The important thing was to let Amanda's singing of the words be heard, so I kicked back my flute by using a bus to balance a strong reverb with a lower gain level to position myself as more distant.
Industrial Punk it is then! LOL, Quite obvious really ;)
Alternative genre?? I LOVE Alphastates' "Good Stuff" #1 - What a sultry voice she has!

I was watching a programme about a man who went to live in a lodge in Alaska. He made friends with brown bears, one even allowed him to play with its cubs. He tried to befriend grissleys also but they were too wild. He loved the bears so much he spent half the year away from his wife.

Thanx Sam - Feedback appreciated!
Dirge - I've seen that TV docu on the retired bear lover in Alaska too. Great prog I thought.
These are the Chinese Moon Bears which are imprisoned in ultra tight cages for years and years and stuck with torturous instruments to extract bile for Chinese medicine. If you visit the Animal Asia web site you'll see - But be warned it's horrific.
On the positive note, much is being done to restore these Moon Bears to 'normal' health but they cannot be introduced back into the wild.
When the EP is finished (3 tracks) it'll be released for sale and the proceeds given to AAF, but I'm not in charge of the project - Just responding to being asked to toot my floot.

I went to some websites and saw how cruelly and saw how these beautiful intelligent creatures are being treated and the surgery they have to have afterwards to restore them to health. I hope your record raises lots of money to help them.
