Sussing out the identity of the fly is a fun little pasttime. It's been some number of months, though, and I'm no closer to an answer than I was at the beginning...lately I've been having my suspicions that the fly is really a pseudo-male manifestation of a certain eccentric lady's multiple personae...??

My friends may accuse me of being paranoid but the wording of your comment Mr Hamilton is leading me to believe that YET AGAIN you are slapping another mysterious incarnation upon me. I apologise if I have misread your speculation.
This time I am quite offended because.... as much as I love Fly (as many people seem to around here - both genders) I don't think there is anyway I could dream up some of his little adventures. No offense Fly, you do have a certain immunity to normal critisism)
I just wonder who else Hughie has me marked down as...and I am actually now wondering if this wild accusation is designed to deflect attention from himself haha. I definitely read some Hugoisms in Fly's patter on occasion - :)

I like to live dangerously, and although I don't know the true identity of Fly (well actually I think that is his true identity) I decided to write him a song to let him know how I feel.

Mmm-mmm, I thought you might love me Miss Soo when I saw your porch ornamented with what seemed to be an overabundance of flypaper rolls, each with a singular heart tied to the bottom.
I heard that part about being too small to get it on. I'll have you know I make the wasps run for cover when I'm aroused. Nymph, in response to your Ode to Mr Fly ... I've never felt more creeped out yet hysterically induced at the same time. Smoke is coming out of my ears... and that hasn't happeded to me since I tried to use my brain for problem solving. You're a very lucky insect Mr Fly... looks like you won't have to keep yourself zipped up for long !
