EPITAPH
This is the first recording from a series of Ambient tracks, we recorded while our family came together over Xmas for the passing of the last of our grandparents.
Granma was a true Matriach in the kindest most selfless way,her life was an example of unconditional love, born in 1922 she died in her 90th year
Treasure your old folk-they have earned it

Lovely tribute and I've added the track to Airspace where it fits beautifully with the other chilled music there.

"Treasure your old folk-they have earned it" ... Amen to that Rob and all the Silverwooders, and my sincere condolences on the passing of the matriarch of your family.
The song has been added to Radio Times where it can play long into the quiet hours night after night, day after day for as long as Radio Times plays.
Much respect always,
Neil

I echo the sentiments of Delores, Chandra and Mr. Young. I wish more people felt this way about the elders of our society. There is so much they can teach us. As Janus Joplin once said: "The older the grape, the sweeter the wine".
I'm sorry for your loss, Rob.

Hi Rob,
Very nice piece. I'm sure your Grandma was just as nice, if not more so.
It's true we all take the lives and wisdom of our elders for granted. For those of us who cares and listen to them, one begins to appreciate the cycle of life and all of its treasures.
Peace to you and your family Bro-
Love,
Duane and Terri

And duly edited Rob.
Still, no truer words ever said: "they have earned it".

Thanks to people like all of the above, IAC has become more like a family again and I find it very refreshing. Mr. Young has set a tone and an example which fosters this kind of compassionate, civilized, behavior. We feel your pain, Rob and we're here for you. Your music has always been good therapy for the Silverwood clan as well as for us, in good times and bad, you seem to have your finger on the pulse of the moment. The way you use art to overcome adversity and celebrate life is truly inspirational.
