Congratulations Folks! I've been trying to remind myself that we have to UP our presence LOCALLY, as well as worldwide via the internet.
BUT this IACMUSIC stuff is the MOST addictive side of digital music distribution I've found yet! Way better than MYSPACE, PUREVOLUME, or even MP3.com and many others I've tried! BUT without LOCAL, and WHERE you actually play out becoming successful, the internet community means much less.
So THANK you for mentioning this WONDERFUL part of indie music on IACMUSIC when you were interviewed in NEW Zealand! We've been doin' that on the cheezy local Music radio & tv shows in Tucson, az-USA- when we've been interviewed and stuff, too.
It's exciting to see so many things happening for many musicians on IACMUSIC! Maybe there will be no BEATLES-like revolution, but if EVERY artist that broadens their sphere of influence mentions IACMUSIC & praises it--- The revolution really WILL start HERE! -phlegm of Conversation Suicide

Thanks guys
Phlegm ----you are 100% right----no music can just exist in a vaccuum and provide meat and bread on the table!
So we are going back into our community and talking about what Indie and Iac is all about-------there's still a huge gap between those "internet savvy" (not a brand of wine Hugh) and those who just use it for email!
For example the reporter , made me do all the internet searches----showing her how it all works ------hell, some folk don't even understand how to scroll up and down a page----let alone do a search!!
Never "assume" that your fans know how to get around your page, or even find your site, and broadband here is crap, so that is an obstacle too!!
It was good----the paper want a photo of Leo Jake and I, together!---bugger--- every shot I can find has only two of us with other Musos, cos one of us was always taking the pics!!!
Murphys law?

Anjuli------It's true I'm afraid !
---but --we have a 1966 piece in our freezer---which we pull out sometimes and salivate ------------(please keep this to yourself, we are basically cowards who hate any kind of trouble)
Ken---thanks mate------We are trying to "make hay while the sun shines"
funny how one thing leads to another!!
The "other" newspaper----the Rupert Murdoch owned one, want to put us on the front page of the Saturday Express-----I wonder if they have a spy working for them?
