Bob Dylan Tribute
We want your Bob Dylan influenced songs for our "tribute" station!
Just give us the name of the song and a brief explanation of how it came to be , and how Bob was involved, as long as it is in some way influenced by Dylan (music or lyrics) we want it!!!

Ha! Good of you to ask...as is the case with many of the artists I'm influenced by, my real Dylan influence is mostly secondhand - picked up through the influence he exerted on my heros (mostly the Fab Four, of course)...but it just so happens that I wrote Lonesome Road as a solo acoustic/vocal song at a time when I was totally into one of the Dylan Greatest Hits collections...about 15 years ago...had finally overcome my resistance to Bob's vocal delivery and seemingly loose instrumentation (there's a thesis topic for some stoner grad student) and came to see his genius...though the biggest influence on that one would have to be the Julia-like finger picking (thank you, Mr. Lennon)...for what it's worth...

It's inspired by the free word association of much of Dylan's earlier work (with a little Cohenesque "doom and gloom" thrown in for good measure!)

Fantastic lyrics, is that you on the woodwind ( clarinet)
I think this would have to be hosted on my home page to get it onto the station?
Do you know about this stuff, I see I can send it to myself, but I think I would have to put it on my home page to host it for the Bob Dylan station!
