I think it's cool. I like the way the bass blends in with the acoustic so nice. A lot like the recording sound McCartney got in his first couple records alone, and that's a sound I'm way into. Great flat tones. All rich.
Firefly is real cool, too,

Hey Robbie ... I've been without speakers for a few days now .... but tomorrow I should be back up and able to listen ... I see new tunes by Steve Ison, Dick Aven, Bob Eliott , SuperPuss and several others that I am anticipating with great inner excitement as well ...

Heres a link straight to the song for anyone like me stuck out right at the end of the internet
Do I?
Silverwood have been coming out with some great songs after the flood, FireFly is a beautiful song, their guitar work on both is distinctive and has a definite Kiwi sound. It really stands out as an original sound. Nothing to do with sheep I might add.
They call the place the Shaky Isles, Id say its the Musical Isles considering the great bands they keep producing.

Firstly-----------thanks for taking the time ( to listen)
Batina----Well some kids can't relate to classical---my 16 year old plays Motzart by the Kronos Quartet ---and it sounds like Kraftwerk ! (to me)!!
Duane----Lager or bitter mate-?--I'll gladly share one with ya!
Bob-----Cheeeeeers ---Firefly is our great hope!!!
Sam----let's have a hug eh?
Nigel S ---Thanks for the link----Yes I do believe a "Kiwi" style is emerging 8^D
BBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD (sheep talk)
Hugh-------funny ewe should say that------keys and drums were planned!!! ---see below
Kevin----Thanks buddy-----Really enjoying your input hahahah (on the other blogs I mean)
Auset-----yes ! there were meant to be more tracks-------we actually had a commission for an advertising track for gournet food and wine----and this was one of the possibles---- but was designated too "classical" for them so we did a midi track thing instead------middle of the road pop crap-!!!
----but I liked this as it was -----so added it!

This is beautiful, Rob!
I wish that I could play like that. The bassline is strong and the melody smooth, yet this is no namby-pamby lite jazz stuff. (No offense to those of you who may play in the lite jazz genre.)
I just dig it.

Lovely!!
It has a driven around on dirt roads in an old pickup sort of feel,
Wonderfully played, I like how even and confident your right hand attack is, I struggle with that in my own playing
I may muster up the courage to post of few of the classical pieces I've attempted.
