A friend of mine committed suicide a few years back. There were many of us who wished we could have prevented it. If you're joking, it's not funny. If you're not joking, I wish I had something worth saying.
Peace out, indeed.

I'm gritting my teeth. Dark, yes. Humorous (to me) no. Between this and the "bleeding hand" graphic you have on myspace, it honestly makes me want to grab you and say "LIFE IS WORTH LIVING!!!!" I hope that's an over-reaction.

We're cool...we tend to run away from lollipops and rainbows and veer towards the darker side of things. Not that we're all depressed and sad, just more about our own realities. We do have song called "dead2me"...
Sorry to bring up bad memories for you.
Next holiday station...not so pitch black!

I love the gothic culture! If you take these things so personally you almost have to stay off the internet because it's everywhere you look.

Maybe you want a few big names on there to kick things off. I can think of a couple of them with holiday songs on IAC, and I'm sure there are others -
I'll Be Home For Christmas by Aimee Mann
Merry Mary Fing Christmas by LyinDan

Ok, now I'm kind of wishing I'd just stayed offline until tomorrow morning, maybe I would've "gotten" it. But, in all seriousness, suicide is a tragedy each and every time it occurs, and while I can relate to joking about it privately, I hope folks in the "spotlight" have the strength of character not to endorse it, or even SEEM to endorse it. It's NOT the answer.
Bwah.

Well wasn't really expressing an opinion about the topic...and I won't.
Just posting a picture about how depressing the holiday's can be.
But then removed it b/c I didn't want to offend or upset you an futher.
Although in reality you could be upsetting me right now b/c you don't know my history either.
I am not a role model, I am an artist. We are expressing ourselves and the way we feel. Love it or Hate it.
But we're still discussing it and now anyone who's even looking for such a thing has no idea what we are talking about... sheesh!!!

You have my permission to delete all my stuff. Not a problem. Sorry. You've responded very nicely, and I'm sure we understand each other.

Greta, I wanted to tell you I enjoyed your interview.
There's a couple Christmas tunes coming on the site in the next day or so by a famous 60s icon reuniting with his old band, so be on the lookout for those.
