The Devil's Worksop
We just uploaded a new one called The Devil's Workshop.
Why should you listen to it rather than any of the other 28,348 songs here? Well, because:
Dr. Dust plays a rhythm that made the rest of us go "You're playing off-beat. Why are you playing the kick on the 4 and 6?" To which he replied "Just trust me. It'll be perfect".
The Nail provides the B. B. King inspired framework, chunky rhythm guitar, percussion that could only be derived from one of those jumping-jack corkscrews, and sings his words with passion including "hooo!" (aphonetically).
Stegor wops away on the Rick bass with enough wah to unplug a toilet, lays down a fairly skilled guitar solo and "played" some grinding organ and slithery synths to round out the whole event.
There's also some new pics in our gallery of us doing it in our beautiful studio environment.

Hello again,
I listened to your tune the devil's workshop. You must have had your groove thing in overdrive when you guys came up with this one. The bass holds the line as the organ and guitar deliver a funk punch. Vocals nicely done warm yet mysterious. The drum beat did not only work but made the song stand out from a standard boring 4x4. Good job by the drummer for being willing to try something different. The only thing that I could say for improvement is that possibly the song could be cut down to 3:00 instead of 3:30. That is only my opinion. I like your guys work. Its always something new that does not quite fit the standard mold. That is a good thing. I call this style Funkadellic. Don't stop experimenting you guys have something good going on!

Thanks Two Silo! Funny you should say that about the length. It was shorter but at the last minute we added a section because the guitar solo was on top of the organ solo and they were competing so we decided to make em separate instead of just simplifying the organ. It seemed too long but we figured it was just because we were so used to it the other way.

Rock on, Fellers...

Hello again,
After I read your reply to my original comment I felt compelled to correct myself. I do feel that the song "could be" shorter, however, I do not think that you should combine the organ and guitar solo. This was the saving grace of the song. Without the organ and guitar solo's this song would be boring. Instead of combining the guitar and organ solo, I think it would be best to shorten the chorus at the end. Once agin this is only my opionion. There will be others who love it just the way it is.
Why do I feel I am qualified to review your music? #1) You asked for it.
#2) I write music reviews and have reviewed six aritists on www.garageband.com. I have a 92% artist satisfaction rating. I don't pull punchs so as they say "becareful what you ask for you might just get it." My reviews are honest and fair. I point out the positives and anything that I feel needs improvement. I review across all genres of music and am unbaised. I review each song based on its individual merit.
