NEW SONG up... It's the Conversation Suicide LIVE Track of the moment: " I Don't Know What You Want From Me"
FINALLY.
It's been LONG enough since we LAST put up a BRAN-NEW Original song, I thought we should Introduce you to the Phlegm Phlavor of the moment; with an original punky ditty:
I Don't know WHAT you want from ME
PLEASE give it a listen, with an open mind, seeing what it COULD be, in the studio.

Great song! I hope you get a chance to record this in a studio someday. It reminds me of the Sex Pistols and Ramones! The chorus is killer.

Added to THE GOOD STUFF 4U.
Great tune, Phlegm!
Although I compared it to Rancid, Naked Raygun, and the Dead Kennedys.

WOW Richard & Todd -- THANKS! I was just wonderin' if it was a mistake to release such an unpolished version....
At least our soon to be label Romulus X Records UK, will START to get the idea that I intend to keep that OLD School/mEets NEW school punk thing alive.
It's SICK 'cause I probably have enough LIVE original tunes to put a new one up every day for a whole year. BUT -- that would be pretty pointless.
It's always best to experiment with airplay amongst friends/family & fans AND then let the cream rise to the top, urrrr... somewhat naturally....
Anyhoo... Glad you dig this one.
I haven't figured out yet how long to keep these "LIVE Original Track Of The Moment" tunes up for.... I guess we'll see how it does in the LIVE Performances Charts, eh? mmmmmm... and then switch to ANOTHER New one, when it's interest seems to be disolving....

Phlegm - it's never a mistake to post a song that you believe in regardless of what the production values may be. IAC is pretty safe environment for experimenting with works in progress. What's the worse that can happen? That being said, it's still must be very frustrating for you not to be able to afford to record gems like yours in a stdudio or even to record live with decent recording equipment. Have you ever considered just booking 2 hours of studio time in the cheapest studio you can find ($25 - $35 an hour?) and recording the song song live. You could take one hour to set up and one hour to record. You wouldn't have time to mix but you would have several takes of the same song one of which would probably be just right. Just try it with one song and see what happens.

Thanks for stoppin' by Pity Whores, hope you do give it a listen or two. Colin of The CODE and Chris of the Data Thieves too.
Man, you just don't know what it means to get positive feedback on original music from musicians that you respect. It's a GREAT feeling.
urrr... wait a minute I'm pretty sure Richard Scotti, and all of y'all know what that feels like. Strike that.
THANKS one and all for giving our latest ditty a listen.
I'll have to leave it up for a bit now, since Todd added it to his station, and sez it's one of his favorites. 'Cause Todd is like, cool, and shit. He's a Talented & Creative Mutha FUcka, who's quite prolific with the original tuneage, too. I dig Todd & his eclectic ear & style.
Cheers! Off to work again.

Hey phlegm that's a cool song, it rocks. I'd love to hear it live in the room with you playing it, and a studio version would be well worth the effort. Hell, if you weren't 2500+ miles away I'd head on over to your place and record it today. Keep us posted on what you do with it.

HEY Pity Whores 'ducer - It makes my day when a PUNK band, &/or their producer, DIGS one of my punk tunes !!!
Thanks guyz.
We're hopin' to hook up with a couple of those types that have their own recording studio in town, and say things like "we'll record you for free"....I'm sure at some point in your EARLY years in music, you've heard that kind of dreamy talk.
Unfortunately, none of 'em so far have turned out to be talkin' straight.
One really DOES meet a LOT of flakes in the music scene, with great promises, but NO delivery.
SIGH.
We'll be hitting the recording studio at least ONCE, I hope, before we move to the UK in 2010.
I'm a little overwhelmed with NOW having to find a DAY job asap & the rest of life right now, but I know recording professionally will happen again, when it's time.
Even if it's NOT 'til we get our asses to the UK.
Can't wait to see you on JERRY SPRINGER this comin' May 20th - we DON'T get good reception, so make sure you get a YOUTUBE video. We wanna see ya in your FULL GLORY !!!!
