Elton is amazing. Having seen him live several times, he is "the natural".
Jerry Lee Lewis too.

Well, there are the obvious choices. Emerson is as good as it gets. I've always been drawn to the non-heroes.
Even though I already blathered on about him in a different thread recently I'm going to give John Evan (Jethro Tull) another nod and a wink. I've always just loved his style and personality.
Page McConnell of Phish - wow.
Here's a really weird choice - Boris Blank of Yello. Insane master of electronics.

Keith Emerson is probably my fave. I still listen to ELP and am still amazed at his power and ability.
Tangerine Dream
Bruce Hornsby
Roy Bittan- the stuff on the Born To Run album makes those songs
Tony Banks
Nicky Hopkins
Joe Zawinul
Steve Naive
