It's a very nice (and compact) PA system.

Hi Lace, I see you have been doing well :) I have been looking at the Bose, how do you like it? If I were to start playing Live it would be something I would look at.

I've been eyeballing Boe systems for some time!~! Alas poor Squrly cannot afford to indulge the senses at the moment, except for listening to all the great tunes here!
How do you like it? Tell me more.
Its good to see you on again, by the way.

pretty interesting units....180 degree delivery, smooth sounding, best of all (and most amazing because ideally it's placed behind the performer)....no feedback.
Have a ball, Lace...and welcome home, girl.

Just curious Lace, et. el.
How many watts of power on that BOSE Model L1 System II and it's speakers?
I mean will it for reals get up over the guitars??
Sounds like a KILLER dream PA System, CONGRATS!

Phle, as they said it's a compact PA system, sound is amazing. Like Mike reports, no feedback, 180 degree sound. I'll scout up a link and post it next. Not sure about the watts.
Hi all, I'm hangin' in Jeff :) And I positively love the new system.
Muriel the sound clarity is unmatched, it has a significant bass response you can feel, beautiful highs, smooth mids, all without blasting at you or piercing your eardrums. Vocals are crystal clear. You can walk the perimeter of the entire room and it feels as though the sound travels with you, not at you. Very different from a conventional system where the sound travels out and decays as you get further way. And the best part is it's compact design, I can carry and set it up myself. Leave it to Bose.
Hey Hugo! As a matter of fact I'm werkin' on a power trio, once again. So there! :)~
Thanks for the warm welcome home!! ::Waves to Larree/Tony & Deb/Carolyn/Pip & Merry/Dan:: Love you guys!

Check it out Phle, and notice closely, the upright speaker is also the monitor. You stand in front of it to play.

Hi Lace
Big smile to see you back---!!
These new PAs are perfect for the travelling muso ---My Myspace friends "Katus" toured New Zealand last year and I was impressed----No feedback and great bass and sub---the mixer sits on top of the speaker and the mid range up on stands
you can point your mike at the speakers and---NO FEED BACK!!

I'll bet that Phlegm guy wouldn't even know what to do without all the feedback... sounds like a great PA system.
Lace, I understand you do some great cover tunes -- you should stop by the Anon E. Mouse page, and listen to some of the TRULY famous Artists on IAC; Like Ms. Sheryl Crow and many more..... no wannabe Indies, like Mr. Phlegm, on my page.

Thank you lovely Lace for adding Sweet Angelica to your station. I tried to leave a thank you in the shout box but it seems to be full. I'm pleased to have so many songs on your star-studded station. If you're looking for songs to cover, feel free to cover one of mine! I'd be honored. You know I use the best singers around and you're certainly in that category.

Wow Richard, thanks for the compliment, I'd be honored to cover anything you do!! Love your stuff. Just have to put the finishing touches on the recording studio that Jim Jr (Maybe Someday) and Sr are helping me put together and I'll be set to cover to my hearts content.
Now for figuring out how to fix the shoutbox!!!!
