And...Abbey Road...it's worth waiting until THE END...I love the three axe montage...and for the first time I realize which lead John was playing - portrayed by the SG in this video - it's very much like what he did on "Yer Blues"...I've gotta say though, this dude is really excellent, but he doesn't quite get the intonation on "Something" - that one is what I consider the HOLY GRAIL of lead guitar, absolute genius:

Thats funny Hugh, I had subcribed to the site with the Guitar covers, and found the impressionist through him. I also found another site where Piano is taught...
Martha My Dear, Sexie Sadie etc... I think I will hang out on that one, I need to get my Piano chops up. You tube, Gotta Love it....

I've been wanting to get into video - have really enjoyed poking around this stuff, thanks for leading me there, Jeff.
Found THIS one today and really love it - same youtube user as the two I posted yesterday - but this involves a few players, with screen split into 4 views throughout - nice - kids today! lol:

Yeah...hopefully they're writing or trying 2 do originals...with that Beatles
influence it should be interesting. If not, they'll find their own sound hopefully.
I'm droolin over that Rickenbacker! They've got the equipment and a place
to practice...that's 2 things going for em.

Very cool, glad you all enjoyed it...this guy has a bunch of videops, he does all the singing, and does great "speaking: impressions...his Paul , John, and Ringo are great. I think he sells a DVD, I may buy one to show him support.
Hugh, great that you are reaching out..I hope they com on over!!!. As for originals, I have found that the most incredible, gifted musicians can't write original music and melody. I think its a gene or something :) They can play circles around me, but can't write an intersting song. Have any of you found that to be the case??
Hopefully these guys have some original chops, they certainly have the covers nailed.

I dunno about that, Jeff - I learned the same way these guys are learning, and I have more fun "studying" than writing...but we'll see about these fellers...

Your an excellent Songwriter as well Hugh, in my experience being a great musician does not always translate to being a good songwriter. I played for years with a guy who was a monster on the guitar....played everything from Rock to Jazz to Fusion, but he could not write a song.... I have come across many others along the way as well.
I think we all learned initially by playing covers, Songs on Record or the Radio are the inspiration for picking up the instrument in the first place!

That guys really funny! I can't drum like Ringo, but can sing abit like him(someone once said i'm even a better songwriter).I can pucker up my lips like McCartney and do his thumbs in the air thing too (not as good though).Someone once told me i looked abit like George Harrisson, but i can't sing like him.I can't sing, play or look anything like John Lennon, but wrote a song called 'girl' once like he did (it was when i was 13 and it was rubbish though)

I'm sorry if that makes me seem big-headed.I'm not pretending i'm as good as The Beatles by all the comparisons i made.(i know i'm not)
