I'm back from "vacation". Thanks for the kind wishes for a good trip.
Off to Ontario to visit family. My poor old Dad is in his nineties and Mom is getting worn out looking after him. Brother is undergoing medical tests for undetermined internal bleeding.
On the positive side we'll be bringing back the oldest grandson to visit for a week.
Bye for now. Back July 3rd.

It's June 30th and we're safely back with our oldest grandson and a load of stuff from the old house. I'll need a couple of days to catch up, and then back to work.
I wasn't home for even an hour when a got a phone call saying my dad is in the hospital. It doesn't sound too serious though. He's just old.
He can't see or hear well, so his brain gets very little stimulation and seems to be shifted into neutral most of the time. When it does go into gear it could be FORWARD ("Are both your houses in Saskatchewan in town?" -- a good current question), then twenty minutes later shift into REVERSE ( "Are you going to deal with the horses?" -- now he's a boy plowing barefoot on the farm again)
He doesn't mind being in the small town hospital, so it's cool for now especially for my mom.

May your dad's motor keep running as smooth as possible .... Your brother's oil stop leaking .... Your mother's road smooth out a bit ... and you and your family stay in the race with that grandson !
