Ouch! Accident at work.
The kozy king spent last week lying on the couch with a broken foot.
Finally got to the computer desk for a couple of days of blogging (as kozy and as kranky).
Now I'm off again can't work, so I'm going to Thunder Bay to see the family.
We'll talk next week.
PS How'd I hurt the foot? Moving a drill-pipe trailer with a front end loader. The hitch wasn't lining up so I gave it a boot at the same time the operator was lifting the forks. Small fracture on a foot bone and my little toe popped like balloon from all the pressure. There is no real pain if I don't do anything (except lie on the couch and play the guitar :-), so I'll be off for another week and then light-duty with a removable walking cast. It's no big deal.

You blew up your lil toe and there is no pain?? What kinda drugs do they have you on????????
I broke my lil toe once (walking barefoot alongside a chair, caught the baby toe and bent it perpendicular to my foot), actually i broke the other one just like it a few years later. Each time I was on crutches for 8 weeks.. I must be a wuss......

Twas twas! Well not at first, at first I looked down at my foot and wondered what the lil thing was sticking off the side of my foot. I reached down to discover it was my TOE!!! Clicked it back into place (both times) and hobbled for weeks..

Thanks for your concern folks.
But seriously there is no real bad pain. Maybe a minute or two when I stand up and the blood rushes to my foot. Then it's over.
I think a broken toe would a lot more painful!
