Jupiter Falls- Destiny
This is such a magical psyche folk song i think..
Its weird how songs affect you in different moods and times of the day..
I've played this before and thought it was pretty good-but last night it just sounded incredible-Almost like it was opening up my life-so haunting, evocative and resonant..
Songs like this really seem to bring their magic at night for me,when my mind's more imaginative and reflective-less needing instant excitement..

You two guys are soooo handsome. If Horus8 were here I'd REALLY start to feel homely...
Off for a listen...

Some of the tonal textures remind me of some of the work of a guy I know from Birmingham, England. Yes, this is nice work indeed. I'm supposing there's some slide work going on on that lead, but it also sounds like maybe bending - I'm a big fan of bending...in fact I strung my acoustic with electric strings so I could bend the heck out of it. The tone suffered too much, in the end. Had to bail on that idea.
Rock on, gentlemen.

Haha Hugh..Why thankyou sir-Tho you're not exactly showing yourself off to the best with that photo tho are you ;)
I'm flattered if you think that reminds you a little of me-even with all the bending!
Thanks for checking it out
THe chorus is really resonant to me tho-and feels abit of a coincidence, what with Scotts 'catchy V irritating' thread here today..
Its got the brilliant line 'Do you fit life like a glove? Do you do it for the love?' ..Really good

I preferred the piano song and have duly added it to Hugo's...a bit of Simon & Garfunkelized McCartneyesque Poptasticality, in my opinion. Hmm...should've written that instead of what I DID write...

Thanks for the tip Steve...this is one of the so many great tunes that
would really be great in the fantastic independent films which float
onto our screens and into our minds if and when we get lucky enuff to
see or hear them. I'm in love with indie-films too...too bad the people
didn't use this tune....betcha it woulda been just right.

I agree Larry..It would've been great..
Getting a song you've done onto a cool film would be about as good as it gets for me..
btw..Was listening to your Adventurers, jugglers and minstrels station(at least i'm guessing its yours!) the other day surfing for songs..Some great interesting music there ..So many thanks for that..:)

Yeah, that's one of Aprils cool stations...doesn't he have
unique taste in music...alot of times I hear tunes I may never
have listened to unless I found them on someone else's
station...an easy net-working plus when searching for music
