Great songs! Jesus Hawker has a Southern Rock influence that I like a lot and the lyrics are quite good too. You mentioned Tell Me Why was one of your first songs. There's a purity to one's early songs that's hard to recapture as your craft evolves. That's why they are such gems and this one really shines. I don't think it sounds derivitive at all. It's sounds quite original, with a nod here and there to the Rolling Stones but there's nothing derivitative about paying homage to the masters. (imo)Nice work, pHLeGm. My songs are certainly not as edgy as yours but you might like Brother John, Water From A Stone and Bad Blood Between Us.They definitely rock.

Thanks for the kind comments! And please feel free to add any of our 26 tunes you dig to an IAC Station! I think this last commenty is the nicest one from you I've seen.//.//////.... I'm definitely basking in the glow of positive thought that can come from having diverse tunage!
_I will definitely check those other blokes out!
BUT, Richard, with a Stage NAMe and now Persona as PHLEGM, it's not hard to understand why my music wants to be edgy, now is it? Thanks again for the VERY kind words from a talented and prolific musician on IAC!

I had a listen, Phlegm...enjoyed it...
Last night I was browsing the CD racks at the local Borders. I'm not kidding when I say that they are presently HALF EMPTY, as they "downsize" the CD section. We are fighting a losing battle on that front, my friend.
I thought of you when I saw a band called SALIVA. I think they should open for you, Dude.
