PHLEGM PHAVORITES IAC station grew too damn big so PLEASE check out my NEW one...
Well, PHLEGM PHAVORITES made it all the way to the top 25 of ALL stations, which was MOST awesome indeed. But I think the reason it has slipped back down the charts is due to having almost 200 songs! Yowwtch! It just grew WAY too big for it's britches.
So, I had to come up with a NEW one to hopefully distribute the "wealth".
It's pretty basic I call it PHIFTY PHLEGM PHAVORITES, and it's tunes that WERE running on the other station, but now are in my nifty little top fifty.
Swell, huh? Yeah It was TOUGH to pick the 50 ... urrr... well currently only 42... but you get the idea. Of course PHLEGM PHAVORITES still exists, as the place where music that I dig on IAC is first added. HERE's a couple of NEATO Links for BOTH stations:
PHLEGM PHAVORITES
PHIFTY PHLEGM PHAVORITES
Now, don't those clickable links look like happy-happy goo-jo fun timez boyz & girlz?

yup. Todd, I finally figured out why you and others had to do that! It just gets out of control, once you get past about 120 tunes. But wouldn't it be nifty if people streamed such a huge station? T'would be an ALL-day experience though. Let's see 120 times 3-5 minutes a song... umm --somewhere between 6 and 10 hours of music, that's asking quite a bit of a listener.
Thanks Susan for the positive feedback! you are an amazing singer/songwriter and well-respected on IAC and far beyond, so it puts a smile on my little face as I shuffle off to slumberland.

Phlegm,
You're still cool even though you're out of high school! Thanks for including me. Continued appreciation for you as a fellow musician. Hopefully we can add an alternate version of the tune soon-- I am still working on it.

THANKS both JP & Slimdog! Y'all BOTH rock, as you well know.
IT was REALLY tuff to pare it all down, and come up with WHAT during this slice of time would be my TOP 50 for all these marvelous artists I've been exposed to & on purpose, or accidentally discovered on IAC. Uh, especially folks like YOU, JP and SLimdog, who both had more than one tune on PHLEGM PHAVORITES. BUT, once I realized I could probably only represent MOST of y'all ONCE, it became OBVIOUS which tunes of your were my favorite of favorites.
(Like you wanted to know all that! YEEEEEESH. such a windbag, I can be!)

Thanks Phlegm for adding Brother John. I'm honored to be on your station and apologize for the not so subtle prompt. I was just fuckin' wit ya! (so to speak)
I truly appreciate all your support and respect. It means a lot to me to be included in your favs. I've got some works in progress that are raw and rockin'. I think you'll be surprised.

You are doing great work Phlem but take some advice from me.
Don't take your eye off of your creativity in music and always put the music first.

Amen brother, I'm workin' it. Slim pickins for musicians to collaborate with around here though. But I'm gonna push hard, and try to go with the flow.
As things stand right now, I really have NOTHING to lose musically with our forthcoming move to the UK in 2010. Surely there will be musicians only HALF as flakey over there, right? It certainly couldn't be worse.
The cool thing is were startin' to move a little bit locally too, with or without stability in the collaborators arena. I've got a pool of musicians at the moment, that helps ensure I can book shows confident I'll have SOMEBODY to play guitar and drums!
Ray, I do appreciate your example, and how you continue to create, even with everything you do for IAC, and EVERYTHING else in your life.
Rock on my brother!
