Thank you IAC, Listeners and the ARTISTS on PHLEGM PHAVORITES, for helpin' us get to the TOP 5 of all stations!
What else can I say? It's the GREAT artists that have appeared and are currently appearing on PHLEGM PHAVORITES that put us in the TOP 10 for 2009 (for this brief moment in time....)! We've got a little bit of everything, Country/BLUES/Rock/Pop/Hard Alternative all the way to JAZZ & Hip-HOP....with plenty of male & female vocalists to keep it interesting....

I looked at your post, went to the charts to check on the number... wanted to see how far up in the Top 10... and BAMMMMM!!! I see my station at NUMBER ONE!!!
What the???
Had to look again, cleared the browser , looked again... checked to make sure it was overall... I am STOKED!!!
Anyway... things are getting more focused... looking to start working with you in February after I get Product Recall out the door... get ready for the flight deck..
Gonna be an AWESOME take-off!!!

Well a very big thanks to SolMusic, I think we've got your man Tony Martin (ex-Black Sabbath) up in the mix.
As we do to all of y'all who've commented thus far Anjuli/Brendan, Todd, Colin of THE CODE, Tommy Saddler & his bud, Enox, Silverwood so THANK YOU guyz fer yer AWESOME music that helped put us up as contenders...

Anyhooo....
All good things must come to an end, as we've dropped out of the TOP 5, but I do hope to be able to put more time in on the station, and improve/pare down it's playlist so we can get back in at least the TOP 20 of all stations.
I was sad to see it had dropped so far in the ratings, but that's the way it goes sometimes. We're dealing with some computing & Internet usage issues here at ARTFEST MUSIC, but I'm sure we'll get by these latest hurdles, and then hopefully get PHLEGM PHAVORITES back amongst the TOP Stations!
Thank you again for all who contributed to this exciting period of chart success.

#35 it appears, which is certainly an elite position considering the some 6000 plus stations existing. We are experimenting with formulae which apply gradual drag as the tracklist surpasses 100 and accentuate the effect as it approaches 150 and beyond, where there is visible consequence.
One can see the reason of course. The more songs on a station, the less meaning a given song's inclusion has, especially if it lies far down the tracklist.

Point taken.
I plan to pare down the station quite a bit, as soon as I get a block of time, and a working computer/internet connection in the near future. I've been doin' it a little at a time, using TODD of Hop on Pop's formula (and others) for doing SPIN-OFF stations, when the tunes grow too big... urrr... that's how Phlegm Phavorites overPhlow came about.
BUT YES. I am quite happy with still being in the TOP 50 of stations!

Woh..Just noticed my station ALtErNaTiVe ReTrO AnD PsYcHeDeLiC is currently #4 in the station listings..
Amazing,since i don't promote it anywhere at all-and havn't played it for a month or so..
Anyway it shows every cloud has a silver lining ..Phlegm Phavourites might be slipping down the charts, but my station ALt ReTrO is riding high!
