need a sturdy cart ASAP to push amp and mic stand and bag with chords etc. around
Went out to play in the street...with a standard shopping cart...well on the train when I tried to maneuver the cart to get off the train the wheel broke off. I went out to busk anyways, pushing this cart holding up the back right side with my strength...very hard to do. I really like the cart cause I don't have to worry about bungee cords......I set up, played a little, then got caught in the pouring rain trying to get my stuff out of the rain as fast as possible. BAD BAD Night!!! Tired!!
I need a cart....I don't know if they make those shopping carts with sturdier wheels or if there is something else to haul musical equipment around in that is reliable. I have the 15 watt Crate Taxi amp, bag with cords mic etc., 2 guitar stands, mic stand, music stand, and then I carry my guitar and mandolin. I paid $39 for the shopping cart I have at a hardware store and I am quite disappointed in it. If it worked, it was very pleasant to use. I cannot be stranded with all this equipment!
What kind of a store would carry the kind of cart I am looking for? I need to throw this in my car, take in on the subway, and wheel it around downtown Boston and Cambridge. I need this ASAP I want to work tomorrow and really don't feel like using a luggage cart because it's a lot of bungee cords and hard to pull...not fun!

well I got a heavier duty shopping cart and also the heavy duty hand truck. I will use the hand truck in the winter. Went out in the street tonight....I am really liking this...seem to be getting some fans, and here and there some $5 bills dropped in the case...One day got a $20, and a $10. This is very interesting! Have had my picture taken....it's really funny....playing music on the street. I am feeling at home behind the microphone now.
