Please Help....Really Old Guy Needs A Hand!
I have an ISRC Registration and I am completely in the dark when it comes to embedding the code into the tracks.
I am hoping someone (Huge, maybe) or anyone can walk me through whatever it is I need to accomplish embedding the ISRC code into my recordings.
Is there a particular piece of software I need? If not, then when and where should the embed occur?
I could burn discs until the end of the year and not "make it happen".....And I just can't afford to do that!
I Thank You Wonderful, Generous, Knowledgeable, Kind and Gentle Artists in Advance for ANY help and/ or advice you may wish to offer!
Ok....I laid it on a LITTLE thick....but it was sincere....Honest!

I'm afraid I'm like Sgt Schultz..."I know nusSINK!" I gave up on manufacturing CD's and now only offer mp3's. I expect that to change someday, but not anytime soon. Good luck with your inquiry - I'm sure there must be a more knowledgable person in the blog-reading public this morning... ;)
The forums at a tech-oriented place such as www.tapeop.com just might have some useful info. You can search for threads with keywords...direct link would be http://messageboard.tapeop.com
Ciao for niao...

Hi Willy,
for tagging music I use a program called Tag & Rename.
http://www.softpointer.com/tr.htm
It includes a field for the ISRC number. I think it might be a simple matter of going in with this tagging program and applying the number, although, I'm not sure what authoring program you are using the create the CD, or what kind of file you are tagging. This one is geared toward correctly tagging MP3's. Hope it helps.

Thanks Hugh and Scott!
I found a program on my laptop (Nero) that allows me to enter all the album and track information, including the ISRC numbers.
This laptop was not connected to the Internet when I burned the disc, although I don't believe that should make any difference. If, in fact the information was actually burned into the disk.
So, after I finished burning the disk, I inserted it my currently connected computer and opened the files with Winamp....But no album or track information was there....
Of course Winamp wanted me to submit the album to Gracenote CDDB, which is fine, except there was no where in the dialog boxes to submit the ISRC codes!
This is really frustrating me! I am really stumped.....I can usually figure this stuff out on my own but.........
Thanks for any additional help anyone can offer!
