New INSPIRATION STATION
I have started a new station called "Inspiration".
Inspiration Station
This station is for songs which do not have perfect production and may not be finished but demonstrate raw talent and may inspire others with ideas to improve, cover or finish them.It is for those songs that often do not get added to the popular stations as their sound quality does not compare to other songs.
If anybody has any songs that qualify, please give me a shout

hmmm.... yeah. I think our tune "Atlantis" would qualify... It's recorded on a BOOMBOX with a crappy little condensor mic in our practice studio.
It's funny you started this station! 'Cause we're runnin' out of STUDIO tunes that we like, and are gonna be puttin' up a few garage recorded tunes that haven't made it to the "professional" studio yet.
You rock DK (& your mum) -- please don't be offended if I start a station along similar lines... LIVE From the BOOMBOX or somesuch...
Anyhoo-- please check out ATLANTIS for lo-fi lovelyness...

Yeah we're headed to LONDON (Heathrow Airport & Heathrow Hotel) in AUGUST... As soon as we secure all the MULAH required from our lovely country's federal income tax refund, we'll be booking the dates, and I'll definitely let you know. I'm gonna make a list of possible artists to look up while we're out there for a week...
Or at least some Clubs or festivals to check out!

Hey Great idea.
Like production is the last thing on our "Back to Typhoon 23" song. It's really old style stick up 2 mikes and play. But we love it.

The Guitar is an Ibanez acoustic electric with a built in EQ
I have three acoustics but the Ibanez is my favorite to record with.

this is a tune that I (or someone) should probably try to do a better take on someday..
I recorded it on a lap top,One of those M Audio 2 channel portable interfaces. I had an SM57 with me that I did the vocal on.
The guitars are of course direct, I was in the mood to play finger style which worked out OK for the song...
still it's kinda noisy and unfinished..
