Mr. Horsepower!
Is that... that hot rod guitar Nigel Tufnel played in This is Spinal Tap!!??? Yes!
Well, almost. And I'm playing it but I'm only pretending it's mine. But it is the coolest dang thing I've ever seen! Only 25 were made, and only two of those have a tach that goes to 11, which this one does. Even Nigel's only goes to 10! A friend of mine is the designer's brother. He's designed guitars for pretty much every big name out there. I finally convinced him to let me touch it. Till now he wouldn't even let me point at it!
Just trying to provoke a little envy... :)

Stegor - drooling a little bit.....but.....
I picked up and had a play on Jimi's Gibson Flying V on display in The Vault at The Hard Rock Cafe in London a few years back!!! Also BB Kings Lucille and a few other fine guitars they have stashed down there!!!
Did a left hand version of 'Hey Joe' - a very special moment for me!!!

Ooh - would that be the hand painted "flower power" Flying V? Ok, I'm humbled!
For those of us who consider guitars to be the most beautiful creation on the planet this side of Eve, I recommend this book:
Electric Guitars: The Illustrated Encyclopedia
It's filled with great photos of the famous to the beautiful to the pug-ugly!
