Alright all you Christmas celebrators - whadja get???
I got a Rocktron Banshee talkbox! I've always wanted one of those. Ba babo babo boyo.... (think Peter Frampton). I tried it out today but I don't have a functioning microphone in my little studio so I won't get to really use it 'till I get together with the rest of the band where we have actual mics and mic stands. It's not one of those effects you'd want to use in every song, but I love it. Now I gotta figure out how to use it wrong, 'cause that's Bat Lenny's style.
How 'bout you? Any new nifty instruments or effects or ??? out there?

I got a nice new pearl cymbal stand and some clothes.
Hey Stegor, The way to use that thing wrong is to stick it in your other place and play power chords and queef your self to stardom. Here is a sample of a song with a squawk box I made. You can also get some cool buzzing talk if you get the hose between your cheek and gums just right. Joe Walsh and Steelydan also used them.
Also Bon anchovie used one. Have fun. Peace
