The first new Stegor song since 1997.
Yes - that's right! It's been 11 years since I've recorded and released a solo track without Bat Lenny. Bat activity has been slow lately and I had the urge, so I fired up my satellite studio.
It's instrumental, which most of my solo stuff is because I can't stand the sound of my own voice and I'm pretty sure that feeling would be mutual. You can dance to it, especially if you're a spider.
Feel free to comment.

Go, Stegor, Go! You are one wild techno-arachnicator! I got a tick bite last week...I think Spider Bite is a lot more fun...keep 'em comin', Batmen or Solo, just keep 'em comin'...

...and call me crazy...but Verity's blog about different "challenges" comes to mind, especially that "matchmaker" idea of matching up artists...I'm imagining a Johnny Normal lyric and vocal to this tune...stands alone as an instrumental, but I'll bet that would be an interesting match...

your arrangement has contorted me into a pretzel... it started with just a few smiley twitches in my right leg... then suddenly and without warning it was a full on happy twist... suffice it to say... I'm all the better for having this experience...thank you... LET THE WEAVING BEGIN !!!!

Stegor- great instrumental piece of music. The sounds put me so in mind of the 'creepy crawly beasties', that I had that sensation one tends to get after walking into a spiderweb.
...I'll be trying to pick the webbing out of my hair for several hours now. Thanks.

Gack! You led me right into that trap! I knew it the second I hit the button. The Fly tricks the Spider for a change. I'll spit you out and let Anjuli enjoy you.
Hugh - You are crazy, but that's beside the point. I'm checking out Johnny Normal - sounds great!

Steve - It's intended to produce the same sensation as the bite of the nasty Licosa Raptoria, his tiny fangs causing creeping ulcerations of the skin, heh heh heh (in the voice of Vincent Price).

Just to wrap it all up in a nice web here - thanks everyone for your feedback and support! I haven't worked on anything alone for quite a while. When working with a band or musical partners of any sort I find myself doing things differently to accommodate their likes or dislikes or abilities or limitations or styles. This time I just did exactly what came to mind and it happened very quickly.
And Sam - I had to make a conscious effort to keep it under 8 minutes! My next song will be under 3:00. Maybe.

Hey man,
I don't normally like electronica and I loved this. What a great little tune. The production is very good too.
It gets two thumbs up from me.
