LOL

Okay, let's have a go, shall we then, Boys?

"you first" said John.

Okay, I resolve not to be a long-winded bitch. I mean, I can just go on and
on and on about simple stuff, really, stuff that you might be able to nail
in one or two sentences. And instead I'll expound it till it's flat as a White Castle hamburger, which are very good by the way, had some last night...
in other words....

"okay my turn" said John

Go ahead then, you interrupted me.
"yes, and too late, you already hit long-winded"

Bite me. ~LJ

----------------------------------------

Okay from me, John.

I resolve not to resolve a damned fucking thing,
I may as well face it, I don't know what I was thinking,
I was a mere mortal when I was alive, and now I'm a mere dead one.
I'll quit while I'm ahead. George? ~JL

----------------------------------------

Okay, I resolve to buy God flowers, because She's Very Pretty. ~GH

------------------------------------------

Okay I also--this is Lesley again---also resolve to eat less.
Just on the statistically unlikely chance I get lucky.
Old I can't do anything about. Fat is another story. ~LJ

here is my newest work, stepping out a little different. similar thing in a way, but slightly unique. its my brand, I dont copy and or mimic anyone, I am original in everything I do. it is all acoustic all piano, with a twist of sorts,. based upon an actual place I read about in China, a beautiful gorgeous place I would love to visit sometime , this is the 2nd in a series of instrumentals soon to be released to a very limited few stations in Canada.lost in the forests of the upper yangtze

cheers and happy new year

Noah, 'to disappear' is fantastically unique and great work.
I can't compare it to anyone really, not the here in my car guy,
not Cobain, neither of them are anywhere near what you manage to do...

it's actually opening my mind to production and arrangement possibilities
that I have yet to scratch the surface of, and thanks for that, because
I'm always looking to musically evolve. You Rock.

Byron, this also is quite good. I love your piano sound.
And you are hands down a better whistler than I will ever be.

Very inspiring to make one reflect... and I love that Lost Chord you
found about three minutes in... outa nowhere..... wommmmmm...

I think I shall have to drag my dilapidated behind into the studio
in a minute... got one more to check out here...

thanks Lesley, I just put comparisons for others to check Fred;s groove out,. an invite, fred is his own man, no one like him but I want people to appreciate how good he is, and make an effort to listen, people are so into themselves in this day and age, so self absorbed and love themselves too much they forget about others, and just listen. listening gives me so much pleasure,

Jillidom, I also quite liked Resolution Day...
Very playful waltz-timing thing... I like that timing, 3/4 as well, every now
and then I do one... I looked for the song by Father Time you said
inspired it, "Awakening Day"... couldn't find it on his page,
and then I looked for the "Father Time Ballads" page,
and couldn't find it at all! Don't know why that is. But I couldn't. Great work!

I don't have a song about resolutions per se,
I do have a song of self affirmation, 'my loving me' (ALJ)
'loving you does not preclude my loving me' is the gist of it.

Happy New Year To You All....

~L

No wonder you always liked it, it was and always will be your song, mine was just a flimsy imitation, far less oomph. But I thought my lyrics were kinda better haha!

I never make resolutions in this so called new year thing. I wake up today and go, whoa I still am here. cool , just like any other day. but every day is a bonus. so ok I resolve to wake up as much as i can this year, if there is a long drought of me not being around, I am either, dead, on a holiday or something like that

My resolution for this year is to slow down a bit and do less work in the studio. Last year I produced 3 new CD's (37 songs/3 genres) This year I only want to do 2 new CD's and concentrate more on rest, relaxation and spending quality time with my wife. Also, I want to do 3 vacations again this year. In addition to this I want to take on 2 more youth vocalists in my mentoring efforts. Maintain my weight loss (36 pounds) for another year.
