It's a Wonderful Life - the film to make you think
Happy new year people.

Over Christmas, yet again I watched one of the best films ever I love how it brings a tear to my eye even though I've watched it so many times and know the script by heart.

If you don't know it, the main character is in such dire straights that he thinks everyone would be better with him gone, but this 'angel' takes him through how life would be without him.

I'm sure we all feel like George Bailey at some point, desperate for answers, alone, regretful, embarrassed, self hating whatever, so maybe it would be an eye opener to have an angel show us our value, things we're not consciously aware of and how we've touched the lives of others.

I pray for peace in the hearts of mortals that it will lead to peace in this fragile World we all call home.

Well obviously I was wrong, it doesn't make anyone here regress through their own mortality at all ;)

The Rhythm Kings

Hello Listener, I am not one to post, However your topic has tasks me to reply.

In 1987 I pretty much hung music up for a real job and a woman. Both were bad idea's. For 25 plus years I thought what if? I thought everyday about the Kings and making and playing music with my old pal Don. Then 5 years ago I called him. I was knee deep in a bottle of Jack and I can't believe he agreed to meet after all that time. But he did. Now we are writing some pretty great stuff if I do say so myself. I am reborn. Energized. Looking forward to the possibilities of a new day.
The challenges to overcome. (Like trying to learn about DAW production at 52!)
Bottom Line it is a "Wonderful Life".

I got my Best Bud Back.
I'm Making Music again.
I'm Me again.

Happy New Year to all in IMP Land.

Best Always,
Bruce

P.S.Don did not pay me to write this.... LOL

Wonderful Life never gets old. They don't make movies like that anymore.

HeyBruce, in the film the angel would have taken you back to see what life might have been like if you'd stayed with the job and the woman probably.

Larree, yeah it really has everything, do you cry too ?

It starts with the knob on the staircase for me and goes on to his brother coming in and all the faces of the bankers putting money in the pot right though to the bell ringing on the tree - boohoo

There's plenty of action in it actually Lackwit, and great acting, plus violence, corruption, prostitution, singing and dancing, nostalgia, kids, even a bedroom scene. Shut up and watch the damn film why don'tya and take your greasy spoon out of nice people's pies
