Groovin With The Cats - A collaboration with Sam Cat and Superpuss
Groovin With The Cats is the new name for my track Nameless Blues which I uploaded a little while back.
It's now been transformed with Sam Cat (The Man With No Band) contributing a harmonica track, and some fine drumming from Superpuss. Superpuss also applied her engineering skills to creating the mix, she's done a great job!

I'm trying to refrain from bad feline-related puns...am enjoying my listen right now...I always get a kick from IAC collabs - maybe Ray Porter will start up the "Incest is Best" station now...lol...

Thanks heaps for the invite to play on your track Andy. You've created a gem with this one with some mighty fine axe work and Sam Cat's harp playing is just too cool :)
This was such a fun collaboration. Even amidst technical troubles with my internet connection we prevailed.
This was the ideal track to try out my new Waves SSL G series master bus compressor and some G channel EQ on. There's only one way to describe SSL gear.... fat and warm and Waves have captured the soul of SSL purrfectly :)

That's a neat three-way! I think you posted the original riff, and it's great to hear how it's grown. Sam's 'monica adds a bit of spice, and SuperPuss did some excellent work, adding the drums and firming the whole piece up. High-Q. It certainly doesn't sound as if it's done by three people, on three different continents, who've never met. Well done!

Groovy track, cats and kitten. Reminded me of the Blues Project and Paul Butterfiled Blues Band and that's sayin' a lot!
