Thank You IAC, It's No Small Deal to Me...
To be featured on this page means a lot to me. I'm very good at continually creating, but I'm not good at bringing those creations to a wider public. I really appreciate the boost.
If you don't know my music at all, I want to ask you to try it out...it's got heart and soul, and it's not really like another band.
Also, the first nine songs on my page are a new album, "Simple Machines, " and it's acoustic based, but if you're into reggae, there's a lot of that down lower on the page from previous stuff.
Anyway, I am honored to have the chance here at IAC to be less of an unknown hermit.

"unknown hermit" - ME TOO! That's exactly right! A venue of, by, and for the indies, gigging, or hermitized...lol!
Way to be!

Funny thing about that picture. A guy did that with photoshop. I go by the name "Tao Jones (Dow Jones-get it?) at another site, and he was just making a joke out of my picture and my name. I thought it was pretty cool though, so I've been using it. He's so good with photoshop I'm starting to have memories of wearing that make up.
Thanks for the well wishing here and at the site. Stop on by, folks, we have coffee and donuts, beer and wine, an open mic....

Good for you Bob! I also like your photo shop image.
Hey Steve, what's the story behind your photo. It's kinda odd in a subtle way.

Left a congrats on your page, too.
But I may as well join in with the rest of the hip crowd and extend my congrats here, in the public forum.
Well-deserved, indeed.

Wireweb interview
John..I really needed a picture when i got my first interview very early on in my web 'career' lol..Maybe late '92?
My friend came round and took this shot on his digital camera which he then uploaded for me to use(i didn't have a clue how to do all that)
Online friend Karla Mishue,a Danish musician just sent me the photo-shopped version as a gift with a strong bleached lighting which i liked-and which you see there!

Bob Elliot, the "Feature" here really does work, I had one in Jan, and noticed that my stats went up by around 4x, they are tailed back off now, but you will definately see a big rise in plays.
Steve I, I remember Karla from the old mp3.com, was that really '93??? ha ha :)

... just read your first interview Steve... good stuff. If I was walking down the street and came across YOU busking I'd give you a pineapple and a fork or at least a coconut and a hammer!!! Are you still busking because I'm definitely gonna sneak up on you one of these days... and I might have some mangos too !
Bob... I'm an idiot ! I've been reading through this thread and wondering what the hell your all going on about ??? Finally I give up and return to the front page whereas there you are in all your front page yin and yang glory ! duh. Now that I've put 2 & 2 together and have come up with 11... I feel a need to congratumilate you! I did go to college to get my edumacation but I never did gradumanate.
If I was a small child I might have had nightmares about your visage, but not now...no...now I am embracing the two dimensional colors that are splitting your face in half yet somehow holding all your features together as if they might shoot off in different directions at any given moment...of course, I may just be imagining all this. Seriously Bob, congrats and may your hearts find you. -anjuli

Lace, it was the front page right here.
That was very cool, and thanks again.
I sure hope that picture isn't scary. Maybe it's time to change it?

Jus kiddin', Jen Bye is featured today, and I have to click the front page more often. Didn't realize IAC did this!!

Anjuli..Yeh,i still busk every week..Appreciate the kind thought, but if the weathers as cold as last week,a cup of coffee is definitely more desirable!
DT Chris..Karla was a really cool person/artist at mp3.com-but i've totally lost contact with her now..
Part of the strange drift of cyberspace i guess..
yes,weird how time flies hu?
Bob..Have you noticed an increase in your stats from your day in the sun?
