Bryon- thank you for the stellar reviews. I love how you support the music community here. Also, thank you for adding us to your great stations. It’s an honor for sure.
Chris, thank you for checking us out and the kind words.
Jingo- I am so glad you heard the whole album. It’s a tight little thirty minutes that is meant to play on through and hold together.
Getting people into the albums is kind of my main reason for existence, so I’m so glad you took the plunge.
This is the first album I ever mastered. I work in Studio One now, and so I had a ton to learn over the last few years, and that’s largely why I’ve been gone. Trying to get a handle on this DAW stuff. I love it, but it’s a complex bunch of skills I’ve been trying to get good at, and this album with my two sons is the first out the gate. We have a pile up of material since I haven’t put anything out in a few years.
Anyway, it’s good to be able to get our music to the world now, and I truly appreciate you great people’s support.
Parker turns 21 in two days
Thelonious is 34- his Eurorack contribution is a trip because he does all his music with a rack of little synth modules that have nothing but dials, no keyboard. He’s kind of our secret weapon since he generates sounds unlike any other musicians I’ve ever run into.
Thanks again for listening.

Parker does all the voices. With a voice like that, we just mostly get out of the way.

I just realized you may be talking about other songs since you heard the whole album. I sing back ups on Firefly. Every other voice on the album is Park.

I am a lot surprised that I told jingo that my backups on “Firefly” are the only vox other than Parker on the album. My other son Thelonious does co-vocals with Parker on “Trash Night.” He’s the higher voice. Most people in the world are higher voices than Park.

Nice to see you back, brother. This song is an aural trip - so many nice moments, like where the metal guitar lead is playing against the delicate piano. And through all the nice moments, that awesome voice sings a simple, unique, engaging melody with lots of imagery and subtlety. I can't wait to hear the album!

This is wonderful. Very deep and thought provoking lyrics, a strong melodic sense and terrific performances across the board.
