It would be cool (in a perfect World), if we all welcomed new folks into our literal, and internet communities. I know we're all "competing" fer sumethin (God only knows what?), but a neighbourly "hello" from the folks who have obvoiusly been livin' here awhile, and have already managed to form cliques, and secret codes, and shit, would seem to be the neighbourly thing to do... remember, was it Kurt Cobain?, who said " Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not after you". hey dude ! Did I miss your introduction thread ? This is a very non-cliquish place I think, most people generally dive in and get a great reception. I don't think you'll ever find a more supportive community. Anyway if you feel like you didn't get that kind of welcome, I'm sure everyone will make up for it now because we are not as you describe, we're sometimes even too friendly to new artists. heh

Anyway hope you feel at home here. There are only 3 secret codes in this message and all lead to my page. :)

I'm so lazy, I don't even know what a 'introductory thread" is. But I knew, if I threw a psychological temper tantrum, someone would hear it. Hey man, I'm just feelin' blue, and venting. Howdy back HunkaFunk ! ... I love that forgotten Welcome word ... :)
It's great to see new, fresh faces around getting involved in the blog scene ... there are quite a few lovely, funny, witty, smart, etc. characters that post here ... and a lot of them are "new" folks ... Hell we were all new once upon a time ... and these blogs have led me to check out some outstanding music ... which BTW, I have you slotted in for some listening time later on today ...

I'm overwhelmed. I just picked up my Sweetie at Evergreen Hospital, and she's home now with me, and her puppy, Thank you for your positive thoughts, and Prayers. I see now that this is a wonderful group of Artists, With great Karma, and a truly welcoming Spirit. I wish I could have a barbeque, and invite you all over for a badass jam.

Hey HF, I'm usually the welcoming party - I have no hidden agenda. The only songs on my band page were written for me by enthusiastic and kind community members.

Lately the volume of newcomers has been vast, and many artists, like yourself are already bringing interesting new topics to the Pipeline. You must have noticed some familiar names on the threads here, these are people who make my life as community hostess easier and pleasurable.

Unfortunately I have been quite ill myself over the last 10 days and my appearance here has been quite minimal - there is also a problem with 'time zones' which means that your blog may have slipped out of sight when there is a new influx from a newly active group.

Anyway, I think you now know we are a very community minded site and we are glad you found us - Verity (IAC)
