Rockin'! It's an energetic warm-up for the 'pro shoot'. Why isn't this song posted?
As usual, I recommend hosting the vids from IndieMusicClips.com. Free and better quality than YouTube. I swear.

I really like the color effect on the top video especially. It would be interesting to compare it with a sound track of a studio recorded version. Give it a try if you have time and see what you think. A live sound is great for promotion to a certain segment and you may find a more polished version with that particular image to be a perfect combo.

Hi Art factory,
we're shooting pro vids later this month.
We want the live sound, our studio recordings
were kind of pieced together and we really want
the current lineup in the mix.......
I got lucky that a pro video guy approached us,
he just likes the music and offered to shoot us cheap.
So, on the 27th we'll finally have pro audio in our vids.
I love the way my Les Paul is changing colors in the last vid,
if I could buy one like it that does that, I'd pay anything for it!!!!!
Gibson, are you listening????

Silverwood, Lefties are cool! I'm also in another band called Jack Sabbath,
we do early Black Sabbath covers and guess who I get to be?

Pretty cool tune Doug...never noticed you were left handed till now.
Although you ran into someone claiming to be pro-video, try and find
someone else who does something besides putting the camera on
a tripod. There are no dynamics. period. While the song doesn't lack
power in it's audio form, it suffers because of a lack-luster video shoot.
I realize this person put in 1 video effect (oh boy!) to make up for his
lack of different camera angles (a necessity for a music video!), but it
does not make up (at least, not for me) for his lack of effort. With all
of your electric personalities and visual flair, I feel your song and
band could be headed for success on a greater level with a more
syncopated and well edited music video. Of course, a stage perhaps
and a bit of choreography would work wonders also. I just picked up
a camcorder myself, and already being a photographer, I too am dwelling
upon the visual possibilities for musical things I've worked on and
visions in my head. Anyway....your band has
great energy. Just giving ya my honest opinion.
oh…btw/….your last names translates simply as:
ROCK THE FORT!!!!!.... now, how cool is that?! heh heh
also btw....if you did this practice vid yourselves...it's a Fun vid!
can't wait to see the pro one...that'll be interesting. :)

Sounds like a great opportunity Doug. Larry has some great suggestions, if open to creative review, talk with your vid guy up front about what he plans to capture so you maximize your efforts and are pleased with the result.
I also agree with NNB on the filter effect, can be done afterwards tho so you have all options.. he'll know what to do but you can always give him some idea of what you like.

I hope you go with something like that if you do a pro vid...

Larry, I shot these vids, not the pro guy. That's not until the 27th.
He works in the industry, shoots major production although
I'm just having him shoot us just like I did.

Never Never,
once I get the video files from the guy I'll have both straight ahead, and with effects.
I love the color change thing I did, that was using "Movie Maker" software.

Larry,
I don't think I said one camera angle was great, and I agree with your suggestions.
These were just random practice clips, I turned my Cannon on and let it roll.
If you want to send me an email, I can give you a link to the pro guy's work,
and what he's going to be doing for us. There are some fade ins, and other cool things he did in that vid. Like I said, he's the pro with the camera, not me......

Hi SRM,
both of these songs were posted on our page for a while.
Thanks for the tip on the video hosting, I see they support IAC.
