Oh you know me. I am always working on new stuff. Just finished a rock song called "Can't Change Your Heart". Tried to upload it a few days ago but the upload would not work. Not sure why. Gonna try again soon. Also working on a dance song called "Get Yo' Ass Up" and a new funk song called "Funk Sweat". Hope to be done with them in a few more days. Respect, Stoneman

I've had long droughts in the past, but so far this year has been one of the worst! I'm sitting on a lot of songs, and I'm game for some musical mischief with friends, but it just seems impossible to start something. This could all change tomorrow, but for now I'm just going with the flow and not trying to force anything.

I've got a song that is half recorded, but I, perhaps foolishly, asked a good friend of mine to come up with the bass line. Then he lost his job and has a new relationship and my little song is probably the last thing on his mind. It's been a month. So, though he's an amazing bass player and would probably write something better than I might come up with, I've written my own bass line and might release that version, and then, if he ever comes through, we'll see what he comes up with and compare the two. It'll be an interesting experiment.

I made a song called 808 ur cool. The thing about it is the whole song is the drum beat. Midi files and Analogue synths and drums mix well. The tr08 and 09 is amazing. Switch it on your making beats works on batteries got a speaker anywhere anytime. It,s the IMP way

I’m sure your bass line will suffice. Have you ever considered a keyboard bass? Of course
nothing can adequately equal the sound of a bass guitar but a keyboard bass can sound really good. Even very inexpensive Casio keyboards
have decent bass sounds!

Ah yes, the legendary 808. I ave still got one in the garage somewhere. I wonder if it still runs. Made hella songs with that thing back in the day. That 808 and the old Tascam 244 were what I used to produce music back then. Believe it or not, that was cutting edge shit back in the 80's. Nearly every hit rap record back then used an 808. those were exciting times. The beefy sound of the 808 was almost essential. Clinton, Hammer, Snoop, Dre and even Tupac used the 808. It is an integral part of Hip-Hop/Funk history. Suddenly there was a drummer that never got tired. One that you didn't have to keep feeding weed and beer in order for him to stay in the groove. Unfortunately, there were days when we played entire gigs with an 808. It was our emergency drummer.

We got 2 songs now on the oven, getting closer to being done. One is a really strange geeky novelty song, the other is a more standard rocker that our guitarist jonny added a more progressive rock element to.
