ok! 2024 IAIA Golden Kayak Awards Show and Show Thread
ok first off, you can comment about your own results but no spoilers til we give everybody 3 days to listen, ok?
Richard Scotti asked me if I was doing a youtube and I thought to my making full videos and said no but I forgot that last year we did it this way too.
It's 2 hours and 3 minutes long but of course you can listen to it all at once on Sunday night or 20 minutes at a time if ya want.
I had a lot of fun doing it this year and the songs were just great. Congrats to everybody!

Yes! Finally! For the first time in three years, my song; "Big Bruno (For Bruce)" has won for Best Song In Blues! Yes, indeed! This is my third Golden Kayak Award and my first in three years! Thank you so much!

Great Job Scott! Enjoyed the show, listened to it in one sitting! Congrats to all the winners! Thank you to all who voted for my songs, Open Road and You Were My Best Friend. Winning Kayak awards for those two songs was truly special to me as I was in a very emotional and intense space when I wrote those songs. I put my heart and soul into both of them. Thanks for the validation, folks.
Congrats to my favorite deadhead, Larree for his major accomplishment! It is well deserved!

I can't even tell you guys how good this feels. Every song in the Best Rock Song category deserved to win; everyone in the Male Artist of the Year category deserved to win. To be honored by all of you is so humbling. Much love and a million thank yous to all!
