I am sorry...
Hi IAC friends,
I am sorry (a bit like the DeCerbo/Carrol song), if sometimes I just quickly intrude in your blog, leave a couple of lines and disappear..
I would sincerely like to spend more time, elaborating, discussing etc. Unfortunately as I am sure is the case with you all, I have a very full life, so at times I can only log on to IAC in the late evenings, and these days I need more sleep, and I am a lot slower than I used to be.
This means that it comes down to priorities as although my music and IAC are extremely important to me, the more time I spend blogging, the less time I have to write music.
I am amazed to how dedicated some of you are and I wish I was twenty again, so I could give music all the time it deserves.
We are at a stage in our life (My wife and I), that we have to do the things we always wanted to do, especially since my wife, although she acts and looks about 10 years younger than me, She is actually 11 years older, so there is no time like the present...
We are going away on a ship for 70 days, so my time here will be on a monthly basis. I will be thinking about you at IAC a lot in the meanwhile, as it is such a big part of my life, so please think of me from time to time, (even if I am having a ball!!!) and play a song or two when you feel like it.

As how much you post, we all have differeing amounts of time, I find myslef wanting to post more, but spend too much time reading others posts so rarely get around to it. I shouldn't worry about it at all....

We have just come back from Milan and I am missing the Italian style and fashions, the sun and the pasta dishes. Maybe you will find some time to write a few more of your recipes while you are relaxing. Have a good holiday.

my guitar is in its soft case with spare strings and guitar books, all ready to go!!
I will try to post more pasta recipes when I get a chance, but try this traditional bruschetta:
You need home made style italian bread. The not too soft variety.
It has to be sliced about 1/2 inch thick or even a little more.
Take one garlic clove, peel it and cut a little bit of the flat end off so you have a flat end and a pointy end.
Toast the bread, grill, bbq as long as it is nicely toasted. As soon as the bread is ready and hot, rub some of the garlic on one side and drizzle with extra virgin cold pressed olive oil. Salt to taste & buon appetito! Great between courses or with soups.
