Old Age
That's what many of us are going through.
Whith that comes the aches and pains and frustration. I myself am not in good physical shape. I live with bad legs because of 2 small arteries that are somewhat blocked. The vascular surgeon told me over 2 years ago that he could operate to try to fix this problem but that it would be risky. If it failed it could makes things worse as in having to amputate my right foot if gangrine sets in. So I opted against the operation, easy decision. Now I have to live whith this for the rest of my life.
The frustration part is that during this winter that we're having in Ottawa ( snow, rain, high winds ) I tend to slip and fall if I'm carrying to much groceries. I have to constantly watch the Weather Channel and decide on wich days I go out.
Apart from that morale is good.
Norm.

It turns into a mission Norm!
Been there, going through it and
yes it is a constant struggle, but
fuck it, what else can we do, grow
old disgracefully and hang in there
for as long as possible!

Norm, I can relate! For me its just the right leg with a blockage. I to did the same as you and said no to the surgery. Trying to walk it off and be healthier. Some days are better than others. Gettin Old is Gettin old. Think I wrote a song about that? LOL
